CERES CALISTHENICS | INTERS 2019 CLUBS | 'TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART'

Choreographed by our Inter Co Coach, Rebecca Gross, this stunning clubs set was a constant stand out at every competition during the 2019 season. Rebecca created a beautiful, calming set that her girls continuously carried with immense maturity and poise.
This item was picked to share with our community by Veronique Dawes, a dearly loved member of our 2019 Inters team. She chose to share this because: "When we performed this item at Longbeach, it was probably one of the most amazing and surreal performances I have ever been apart of. Going into it, we were all incredibly nervous but knew we had to band together and trust each other. As soon as the music started, it was like we fell into a trance. We all settled instantly and a certain calmness came over us that I have never experienced before. I don’t think any of us wanted that routine to end, the moment was just amazing. As soon as the music stopped we all ran to each other in a group hug and it was a very emotional moment.
It’s moments like those that make you realise why you do calisthenics and just how special it really is. The amount of passion and love we all felt was something I will never forget. We ended up winning the item, which was so exciting, but it was that feeling of performing with those you love that really makes this memorable, and something I will cherish forever."
Veronique's love for her Teamies is mirrored by every single member of her team. Success means nothing unless you have people around you to share it with!
As usual, it is crucial to thank so many people in the success of this item and getting our girls on stage!
