I enjoyed the bit with Paul at the end (done straight, with nobody sitting in the audience). It was fun to see him and Dave talk in a low-key way.

I watched both the Pre-Rerun Plus and Rerun Plus shows and noticed Eric Burdon's performance was different (outside of the obvious speeding up of video in the Rerun Plus). It looked like each episode had a different version of the performance. The Rerun Plus show had Eric wearing glasses a couple of times, while in the Pre-RP version, he doesn't. Did the Rerun Plus version use a rehearsal of the song instead of speeding up the Pre-Rerun version? Just asking out of curiosity...

Fascinating- I never bothered to notice the difference in Eric’s performances. You’re absolutely right. It looks like indeed the Rerun-Plus version is the rehearsal, since his entrance doesn’t include a nod to Dave where in the original broadcast it does.

It seems like if you slow the video down in the UA-cam player by 0.75x, it sounds roughly the original speed (minus the pitch adjustment)
