btw he also cant be the head captain he has to wait for someone to challenge him and take the title away. that, and he isnt really the type to lead squad 1. Central 46 would fight it they probably would support him.

Remember that video about the connection between Yachiru and Nozarashi.
Yachiru gaining shinigami powers may not be confusing as you think. Remember how Rukia transfers her power to Ichigo through her Zanpakuto. I think it's a similar situation here. After all Kenpachi's own power was just leaking out and he had no control over it.
Also since this video is about how Kenpachi has no name and doesn't know who he is suppose to be, that can apply to Yachiru and because she doesn't know who she is she has no power. So the compensate when Nozarashi separate a portion of her self to Yachiru she essentially transfer a portion of her master's power to her miniature self and that would eventually allow her to be a shinigami. And as time went on, as Kenpachi power began to grow her powers grow too, which actually explains why she is always somewhere observing in every fight Kenpachi is in. She is basically learning more about Kenpachi himself in order to create a power that fits her master's fighting style and personality

Being a captain, who does not even know the name of his sword, is one of the biggest events describing Zaraki. With only muscle strength and unstoppable willpower, he advanced perfectly. But the first invasion told us about Zaraki's helplessness even against of a copy. His rematch with Unohana, his show of strength to Gremmy, and the pinnacle reached of Gerard's fight. I do appreciate in you video about the future leader of the Gotei 13 that Kenpachi Zaraki was a nice guy with a almost honourable code. He also is a guy who shows little to any prejudice or hatred despite his terrifying appearance. He's probably one of the most merciful of captains to go up against. There also a sadness to Kenpachi that I think also he still sees himself as a street rat in comparison to some of the more noble upbringing of some of the other captains, especially with Byakuya. He's a lot like Nosferatu Zodd in terms of just of being an honourable man despite being a monster physically.
Unohana unironically is more like Wyald from Berserk( minus the raping and eating people). Though again she was the the most notorious criminal I the soul society so maybe she was doing some heinous stuff.

When he was begging his sword to talk to him, and it did not, that was so sad. He is a person who just likes to fight to find someone worthy of fighting him at his level. That's why he wear the bells and the eyepatch. He understands his place finally. What is interesting is that his old eyepatch could come off to allow more power when and if he needed it. to make the fights last longer. Also, we only saw him use both hands on is sword, begrudgingly once. That gave him even more power. Now, it looks like this eyepatch is a permeant one over his eye, and he still uses only one hand to use his sword. That, to me, shows how much stronger he has become.

Ive always found zarakis personality interesting. Hes certainly not a nice man, but he's honest. And ironically honorable to an extent. He sees using alternate weapons, like a hidden knife of some sort, as an admission of weakness. He sees tricks and lies in general as weakness. He doesnt bother attacking those weaker than him, like non fighters. Its not that he thinks thats evil or anything, there's just no point for him. Cutting down children, to him, would be as boring as just laying there doing nothing. Its just pointless.
Also him telling that girl to slay him feels like a very...scar from fma moment. He doesnt seem to be saying "come fight me" it seems like hes saying "i won't fight back if you want to kill me." Which i think really hammers home his mental state about killing unohana

People hate when I say it, but Kenpachi Zaraki will be greater than even Yamamoto. Think about it Unohana and Yamamoto crossed paths long ago. After Ywach and Quincy's defeat, she sought out a strong, challenging opponent, which means the other captains of the strongest group of shinigami were no match for her. But yet she met Zaraki as a boy and saw him as her worthy successor to become even greater. Unohana has likely fought against Yamamoto himself because thats the only way reasonable the most notorious criminal would submit to be a loyal subordinate is after seeing Yamamoto in a fight. She sought powerful opponents to fight, even if she didn't beat Yamamoto, neither at that point in the timeline would've held back. So with growth, he'll succeed Yamamoto in everything, likely only having Ichibe as Zaraki better. The soul society knew this, and that's why they didn't want him formally trained. Yamamoto comments of no shinigami born in past 1000 years being greater was likely sad 1) As a psych out or 2) because he wasn't aware the full extent of Kenpachi Zaraki power as he never felt it only tge suppressed version of it.

I would really enjoy a video looking more in depth on the character of Yumichika. Not only is he afforded a decent amount of screen time for someone of his rank in the Gotei, but his personality, design, and his ideals are so interesting. The fact he misnames his own Zanpakuto to more fit in with his squad is fascinating, and his desire to hide that part of himself is almost relatable in an odd way.

What I find funny about the lineage of Kenpachi is that the one who became the true Kenpachi is the 11th generation within the 11th division and the rest were just there to keep the title warm. Like it felt too much of a coincidence.
Even funnier how you later realize he wasn’t even at full power during the soul society arc. In fact he was purposely at his weakest.
No Shikai, no Bankai, don’t know his swords name and what’s he put some many limiters in his subconscious he had to “die” to release most of them. Ichigo had no idea how lucky he was when fighting him.
Also given how strong Kenpachi is right now, he feels like he won’t be surpassed for a very long time. Not unless Ichigo challenges him or maybe Grimmjow.
edit: wait I just realize something.

It's too bad that Kenpachi sort of regresses a bit after the Gremmy fight. He carried this gravity with him that, while he could still sport his trademark sadistic smile, he did so with the heavy responsability of truly becoming his title. And you see this when he and Nanao have that altercation when making the gate to Varvelt and instead of powering through or being snarky, he just (albeit begrudgingly) lets her win the argument.
But then at the Pernida fight, you see him being his usual foolhardy self and charge blindly towards an enemy he doesn't know anything about. I mean, yeah, Kenpachi isn't the most tactical fighting, but he also isn't one to throw his life away and deny himself of tomorrow's battle. Thankfully, we don't see this any more during the Gerard fight, as he removes his eyepatch right away and gives it his all against the colossal challenge that is the Miracle.

Let me say once more another wonderfully done video, explaining the depth of what Kubo ended up making of it. Though it is just to say that I had more hopes for Unohana than just to be killed off. Despite that being the outcome, I can respect what came out of it, with only the thoughts of what could have been. I think I iterated this before in another video, but something comes to mind when I consider what it was that could've come to pass possibly from this. But a shorthand version of what I'd have thought a passing of the torch could be was:
Unohana is stabbed at this point of a fatal degree and her death as Kenpachi the First ends. Only for her to have a special form of Kaido long sealed within her, for the day that she perished as Kenpachi and could assume the title she'd long created and nurtured before this: Unohana Retsu, the Motherly Healer of Squad 4.
I found that it is common for Shonen Jump to kill off their females (mind you I don't blame Kubo, but at large, Shonen Jump has rarely done right by any of their female characters) should be strong or remotely important in some right. It just falls back to a lazy trope of: "Female dies to motivate or empower the male character in some way." I just personally think that Zaraki and Unohana both deserved something better than this tired and draconian trope for progression in their paths as characters. There is merely the excuse of them being part of a bloody legacy used to carry it forth, it's just a sad state of affairs to be persisted for such well written characters.

I’m very sad that Unohana was killed off, but at least her battle with Kenpachi Zaraki both unsealed Kenpachi’s real power and brought Unohana a sense of purpose and peace. Bleach actually permanently kills off few females: Hiyori survives being cut in half, Harribel is healed, her 3 subordinates survive Yamamoto’s fiery blast, most of the Bambis survive unharmed. Females are mostly protected by Kubo.

Like Finger said, she only awakened enough of his power to reach his shikai and bankai, since when she fought him first he was still a kid and was already a monster, she made him reach that once again and then allowed him to become Kenpachi and truly start to strive towards his true strength

Unohana unlocked the SEAL on his power, allowing him to finally hear his zanpakuto. This will allow him to begin to explore his full potential. In doing so she inadvertently gave him the thing he truly wanted most - the relationship he thought he could have with Unohana, but which he could only ever have with Nozarashi. Through zanjutsu he can fight an opponent who matches his strength as long and as often as he wants, and in doing so he will only become stronger.

Zaraki is the most powerfull Shinigami ever, no cap! Stronger than Yama and Ichibei especially in CFYOW. Aizen shinigami would melt vs TYBW Kenpachi let alone CFYOW.
Honestly he might be comparable to Ichigo and Aizen, IMO.
Imagine it like this between the 3.
Zaraki is the one with most raw power and raw skill.
Ichigo is the one with the most growth speed and willpower.
Aizen is the one with the highest IQ and refined skill.
Zaraki is the strongest character in the physical field. His speed in bankai might be comparable to Ichigo and Aizen. He might be more durable of the 3 in the sense the same punch would do more damage to them than to Zaraki. And his Bankai is a one hit kill, anyone hit with it is gone.
Now don’t call me fanboy, I’m just stating my opinion that can be backed up with facts. People just like to downplay him vs Ichigo and Aizen because they are more popular.
