I’m really enjoying your vlogs, we just bought our first caravan, also an xplore, so learning a lot as well. We live in Scotland so some sites are a bit closer 😀
Well done on your towing experience, I’ve been towing for 25 years and you’ll become better and more experienced with practice, as for idiot lorry drivers, they sometimes forget what speed limits are and also the speed on the sign is the MAXIMUM, it doesn’t mean you have to go that speed, getting to your destination safely is also part of your holiday experience so you just take your time, however always pull in to a lay-by when safe to do so to let those that may be in more of a rush to get by.👍 Also, Top Tip.., always drive up ramps or wood levellers rather than reverse on, when you reverse up ramps it disengages the “Overrun Device” on the caravan and it will not apply the brakes properly on the caravan when you unhitch.👍
