I think this is helpful for people who don’t understand how non-visible illnesses can really affect you every day. From what you describe I would compare the feeling to when I get so upset that like my whole body shakes? Like a panic attack with no trigger? I hope you’re having a good day 💙

I got so frustrated editing this because I was like "I look completely fine" and I worry that people think I'm lying when I have to excuse myself from something in real life...

Thank you for sharing this, it is really helpful to see and hear how chronic illnesses that we cannot see can very much affect day to day life. Having an invisible illness is hard.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us Martine. I get syncopy when I am dehydrated and start vomiting (so it's a very specific reaction to something my body is experiencing...which makes getting the flu or being hungover the worst for me, because then I'm just going through a series of fainting spells)...but I have never thought about pre-syncopy. Now that you're discussing it, I know exactly what you mean, and that's actually the worst part of the passing out....it's the before.

Thanks for listening!!!! It's specifically weird for me because the only time I've ever actually passed out (that we know of) is during my tilt table test to get a diagnosis. I'm very grateful for that, obviously, but it does make it harder to explain my daily life with my condition because it implies that I'm fainting all the time but it's even more complex than that. Human bodies are so weird lolol

Tell me why I thought when you said, "Trying to get my blood from here to here," because of the camera angle I thought you were talking about getting blood to your eyebrows. Eyebrows don't have circulation. And I have done the propping my feet up thing too soI don't know what made me think that lolol
