I want to express how thankful I am for my wife organizing a high majority of this work while moving across the country among many other things. Another big thank you to my in-laws for tackling so many tasks you dont see in the background. Without this kind of support we wouldnt be where we are today!
Thanks Mom and Dad ❤😊
why did you move back?
@@cassandramainville7549such a lucky girl!!! Say hi to your parents for me! Congrats on your move sweet cousin. 🤗 ❤
I like seeing the house progress videos
Looking forward to your next video bud! Over here in Maine just installed heat pumps in our house last fall- Fujitsu and Mitsubishi seem to be the best for colder climates, ended up going with Fujitsu due to inventory issues at that time- wasn’t a crazy winter last year but had no issues running down to 5F for a few days- still like the woodstove though! The wife and I just had a baby- we sold our outlander max xt-p for a maverick sport max. Going back through your maverick videos to get ideas for my build- thanks again for all your hard work- has kept me entertained on many a sleepless night!
It's coming together! House looks like a good fixer-upper, but I'm sure you'll have it all figured out one day.
That right side (where you wanted to put the walk way) would be a great spot for a slanted carport-type structure. Then you could have your vehicles under some cover, easily accessible.
I am looking forward to seeing how everything changes.
Garage is shaping up nice, heat pumps are the bomb have them and swear by them
Yes I like these videos. Better than watching tv...lol
Videos are great it’s nice to see all the progress
House is looking awesome!
The house is really coming together. I love seeing what your doing, Keep the videos coming
Really cool to hear. Thanks for watching!
If you're worried about that gap around the vent use aluminum flashing and heat resistant caulk. Keep up the great work! Also looking froward to driveway clearing vids with the new asphalt lol
Thanks! Yeah so am I. Won't be long lol
Really enjoyed the video
Keep going on the reno videos. Thank you for taking time to show us your fans. We appreciate it.
That's really cool. I know they're not my best videos but people like them
There not like Ostas home build vids they take commitment watching those super long vids. No hate love Daves and Carries passion.
great video Kyle !
Good to see you guys are getting settled in. Nice place really like the new finish work.
Everything should slow down soon enough!
Enjoy seeing it come together! Keep these coming.
Get me a shrubbery! Not sure if you'll get that quote but you have the internet you'll figure it out.
And great progress on the house adventures!
Dude, no one knows the holy grail like me.
Facts
I love adhd renovation Kyle. “Here’s the insulation.. so I spent 4 hours grading the hill. 😄 the place looks great!!
Yeah, it's actually a real problem I have haha. I was always told the best time to get something done is right now
@@MainvilleATV Same boat, its a great way to start 7 things and finish -2.. :D
This place is going to be GORGEOUS. I’m enjoying watching the process and progress of your new home! Any content is good content from you guys, Kyle. Keep up the good work, and Cass, you provide the best job security for Kyle, as most wives do! My daughter was born 3 weeks ago, you guys should make a mainvilleATV onesie with the red flannel and maple leafs!!
Thank you! We are working hard at it! Congrats on a healthy new addition to your family!
@@MainvilleATV you guys are the best! I’m here for the long haul.
Just an idea: Conider a small 4 post lift in the smaller side of the garage . Store the off season units up high and park the in season ones underneath
We looked at options for that. The concrete would need work and I think it would only work in the back of the long bay away from the doors
Keep these videos
Hi Kyle , the company that sells finntrail and gator waders is called Revco
There's a lot of dealers for finntrail, revco is one of many.
The unit heater in the garage they should have used mill pak sealant around gap. Most high temp silicone isn’t allowed for high temp appliances because it cures and becomes hard where mill
Pak does not.
Ill look into this, thanks!
Yeah it’s what I use on fireplaces venting and I use it the fire stop through the wall I know a lot of
Manufactures don’t want to assume responsibility on what to use to plug the air gap but you can’t just have a big air gap
Just have a heat pump installed works awesome. The furnace won't kick on until −18. When you're outside, you don't even hear It.
Looks good my friend but you need to slow down a bit lol can’t wait to see it finished so take care of yourself
That's fair haha. We've been going hard at it. Like we said November is our first break in a long time
One more thing bud..you might not like it now..but..keep riding the way you do and in a few yrs that hot tub will be your favorite spot on the property😉 just sayen😊
Pack it with steel wool. Is the gap for thermal expansion of the pipe or air flow for combustion gas.
Brotha😊 first time question asker "is that a thing🤔" n fairly new subber..but anywho..you guys are kicking a** place looks amazing.❤ 2 thing to ask..1..its gotta suck being so young n putting your hearts into a home then moving..n moving..n moving..wth😭..2nd thing n if I kissed it I apologize but..wheres Cass's kodiak😮😮..wheres momma bears bear?? Keep it up..love watching from Michigan 💥👍🏾💥✊🏾💥💪🏾
100% true, it does suck but thats the way she goes! We sold the Kodiak in Sask in... 2021?
We need more videos my friend
I'm trying. It's been insanely busy
My experience with heat pumps is that under 32°f/0°c they are not much worth a flip. Unless there is something new that I don't know about most heat pumps only change temperature 20° or so whether heating or cooling.
Best part about that video was seeing diesel😂
