I also totally get Eloise's feelings, and she's absolutely right that Colin should be told. But I also think she's kind of a bad friend. She's so myopic and focused on her own concerns and interests that she basically ignores or belittles anything her friends say that doesn't fall in line with those interests/concerns. It's one thing to have her unaware of Penelope's feelings for Colin, but the fact that she didn't even know Penelope was interested in getting married at all... that speaks to the fact that she did a lot more talking than listening in their friendship. And we see her doing the same thing with Cressida this season. Cressida's dealing with some serious stuff, but Eloise spends most of their time together talking about her own stuff, and when her attention is brought to Cressida's issues, she just brushes it off with a joke more often than not. And she was so focused on her own arbitrary midnight deadline that she was about to tell Colin even as Penelope was actively hyperventilating in front of her.
as much as i love eloise i definitely agree that she’s a bad friend!! she talks way more than she listens and doesn’t really consider their feelings! then if they do one thing wrong she just drops them
I totally agree with the secondhand embarrassment, it's too damn high this season :D. And I must say that this season is overall nowhere near as good as season 1 and 2.
