I have looked into the kits and they look great, however after emailing torqit and a few other companies no one can let me know if there is better economy sitting on highway speeds (110Km/h) living remotely we do a lot of bitumen Kms and want the savings whilst getting to the tracks and then have more fuel to explore as well.
Luke, let me answer as a customer, I have the set in my LC200 and towing. Nobody will give you exact figures on fuel consumption. LC200 need a lock up kit and auto transmission re map. Only when you have this 4 items together installed you will have all the benefits. But also here it must said you need some Kilometer to figure out what speed and gear is best for you. My LC200 always shifted down to 4th. Gear and reved 3000 rpm. Now comfortable in 6th. Gear with set to 102km and 82% engine load. Does this helps you to find your way around ? Cheers
@@holgermuller2987 it helps a little, the key I need to work out is if I can lower the 110km/h revs from 2k down to 1800-1900 as that is where fuel economy is awesome in the ranger, not sure if the tune and exhaust will aid that but if the engine isn't working as hard it could still improve the fuel consumption.
Love the look and benifit of these systems, Then i head to their web site and nope, no option for my vehicle and year.. lol.. bugger... guess i'll have to email them.
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha Your words crack me up. the power module plugs into the fuel rail and it cleans up your factory maps, cleans up the factory settings. if you truly belief that then you should lock up your tool box and try baking cookies instead. All that device does is TRICK the ECU's signal to add or remove pressure, and is very limited. As good as any custom tune??? WTF dude, I want what your smoking.
Love the loading up videos Justin
Thanks Mitchell!
I’ve got a 1984 Hilux I feel like this maybe a little too high tech for the old gal who’s got some ideas on other ways I can improve performance?
