    I just bought a 2016 ES 350 with 16000 miles on it. Looks like a new car. I've driving Lexus forcthe past 20 years. No regrets.

    I have a 2013 es350 Ultra Lux in Matador red with 130k miles on it. I almost traded it for an A7 a few years ago but I’m glad I didn’t. I’ve been all over with this car. From Virginia to California and back. I still get asked how new my car is lol.

      Lexus did a great job with the design language of the ES! The matador red is also a beautiful color. Thanks for watching!

    Hello Steven, thank you for sharing your 2016 Lexus ES, VERY GOOD CAR with great reliable stability and I agree with everything you have mentioned in your video. I too have a 2016 Lexus ES and I am approaching 290,000 miles on mine. I conduct a real estate and Mortgage Enterprise which requires me to drive a lot. This ES has never failed me and I agree with you 100.000% on the build quality, no creeks no rattles; just a well put together vehicle. I've had to get both my front axles replaced however that was more regarding road conditions than the car. If you're looking for a good decent reliable vehicle that provides a luxurious ride I definitely recommend the 2016 Lexus ES.

    U say 2016 like it is a long time ago...lol. Lexus set the standard back then and still today. Only cars that ride as good as Lexus ES/LS to me, are the S class Benz or the Genesis G90.

    Don't know about the 2016 but the 2018 ES350 has double pane windows at the front. You can tell that road noise is a lot less at the front than the back. Unfortunately my 2018 ES A/C leaked refrigerant during the warranty period. The dealership topped up refrigerant and put in dye as well but neglected to tell me to return for further inspection. Recently, after the warranty had expired, the A/C again needed refrigerant. One month after new refrigerant was added, it was longer cold. Hate it that the dealership failed to properly fix the problem during the warranty.
    Other than that, the car did not have a single problem after 36,000 km.

      if you don't mind me asking, how tall are you and how do you fit in your Lexus? I am unfortunately rather tall (6 foot 5) but I am really interested in purchasing the 2017 es 350. In your opinion, do you think that I would be able to fit comfortably in one?

    ive had the 2013 es 350 handed down to me since covid and I've loved the car ever since. for 2013 this car definitely packs a lot of neat little features that a lot of modern cars don't have. But like you said in the video I'm also getting tired of the soft quiet feeling. Thats why I plan on changing out things on the car. I plan on getting bigger wheels and a lowering the car and making the suspeion more stiff to make it feel more planted and feel better around corners! Bummer but im also paying to get your bumper on mine since yours is the facelifted version (being mine is the 2013 model). But back to the point, this car has served my father and down to me for 115000 miles and still no issues at all!

    I have a 2020 Toyota Avalon Limited hybrid and the fit and finish, road noise, build quality, comfort compared to 2017 ES350 is night and day. 2020 Avalon feels like a tin can with super uncomfortable seats and head restraints. The interior of Avalon is super cheap, thin and flimsy plastics, gaps in interior pieces, wind noise is bad, rear doors squeak when opening because the outside window door belt moldings flex on the piano black corner trim. I have had the 2020 Avalon Limited for 11 days now and I am super disappointed with it, I am trading it in to 2017 ES350. Test drove the ES and its a solid tank of a car with silent cabin and superb fit and finish on the outside and inside.

    Hey Steven, I’m in the market for a car and this Lexus caught my attention. I’m looking to buy a 2016 with 49,000 miles on it and I was wondering is that a bad buy used in your opinion? It’s going for 22,000.00 btw. P.S what new vehicle did you end up with? Thanks and subbed

    What do you recommend: the ES 350 or GS 350 in your opinion? Anyone else feel free to respond!

    • @StevensCarReviews
      @StevensCarReviews  11 місяців тому +1

      Good question! When I was first in the market for a new car, I was debating between the ES and GS for a while, and I ultimately stuck with the ES since it was a bit cheaper. The GS generally feels a bit more agile and sporty, whereas the ES feels more like a boat (which at the time was what I wanted). Keep in mind that older ES 350s also weren’t available with AWD, whereas the GS was!

    9:05 Just some food for thought, this is why you must be careful buying a used Lexus. This owner since new has never had his vehicle taken to the dealership or service to be inspected. The car is working out great fir him but next buyer beware. Lexus/Toyota owners thinks they don't need to service their cars because its a Toyota. Reality is by 50,000 he should have had brakes, fluids, suspension, everything should have been inspected. A barely maintained Toyota/Lexus will last 100,000 with little to no maintenance. But beyond that if you neglect the car just because "it's a Toyota" it will have a life cut much shorted than it could potentially be. These cars are very capable of hitting that 300,000 mile mark but to do that requires proper tender Love and Care. Obviously this guy isn't worried about maintaining his car because he's going to sell it, this comment is more geared towards used Toyota/Lexus buyers.

    • @StevensCarReviews
      @StevensCarReviews  6 місяців тому +4

      Hey thanks for watching! Just to clarify, I did still take the car in for maintenance at the required intervals :) what I meant in the video is that I never had to take it into the shop for an unexpected repair, engine issue, etc.

    Was the '16 model still manufactured in Japan ?!? Our FIRST year '13 ES 350 was built in Japan which according to Scotty Kilmer is far superior assembly quality. BTW - what were you able to receive on trade-In or private sale after seven years of ownership ?!? 💱. 🚘. 🤔

    If you think 50,000 miles is a good marker for reliability, your bar is extremely low.
    If cars have issues within the first 100,000 let alone 50,000 miles, that is sad and PATHETIC, considering the price tag we pay!
