Awww that poor wee baby ❤ Hearing her say no mummy, no mummy to having the cream applied was so pitiful. I'm over the moon to see her looking so happy and bright ❤
Aww... poor baby. I'm 56, and I have some flare-ups every once in a while. My youngest son was like sweet Ivy. I would cry with him. We had to have an allergy test, and he had a reaction to everything. He got so many infections. He's now 31 and he has some problems even now. My first grandson, the same thing. Now, one of my granddaughters has it. She also gets infections and sleeps horribly because of the itching. I need a Dr Emma! We've seen specialists with my granddaughter (we adopted her) and absolutely nothing has helped. Seeing little Ivy's success makes me happy!
It looks like the moisturiser (well, maybe at least one of them) is a LaRoche-Posay moisturiser, probably their Lipikar line (AP+M likely). They also have body washes for eczema that can be used on little ones as well, in the Lipikar line. I use La-Roche-Posay myself because of very dry, very itchy skin and it is very helpful. I hope this helps!
@letitiarampolokeng2425 you're very correct. Our allergist told us to remove all carpet, furniture upholstered with breathable fabric, and take doors off my sons closets, and to get rid of toy chest and place any and all toys on shelves. We did it all ,including the crazy expensive dust mite covers for beds and pillows. My son still battled horribly. He's 31 and he still battles with eczema, especially on his feet. He's not only allergic to airborne stuff, but everything he eats. Eggs and peanuts cause anaphylaxis.
Loving parents + a Fantastic doctor = a happy, healthy child!!! I'm so happy for that family! I wish Dr. Emma was around where I live because she's just wonderful!! ❤😊
I’ve had skin issues inherited from my dad but it suddenly flared up hugely at 53. After every lotion/potion going didn’t work, I tried a strict gluten free diet - the improvement was pretty dramatic. I also laterly included a keto aspect as well, which really helped also. All round Noticeable improvement within 72hrs. I had an allergy test which came back clear which was strange. Bless little Ivy! 💞xx
I'm a grownup who has severe eczema at times, so I understand how awful it must have been for little Ivy and her parents. I really hope Ivy's skin treatment will continue to be that successful.
Born with eczema 66 years ago. Have it in both sides of my family,so I guess I got a double whamee of it. By the time I was 6 months old I had been to every specialist in my state. My skin was much like this little one My mom was told I was allergic to everything from dairy to peanut butter(which at that age I had of course never had). As a child I was on some kind of oral med and topicals all the time. It never has truly gone away. But it is under pretty good control now.
Bless that sweet little soul! It hurts to see a small child suffering so...I wish we had had a Dr.Emma when my sister was a child.Born with eczema and allergies. On and off steroids, staph infections, covered with hard little green pustules.I'm so glad that there are better treatments and happier people, especially children, nowadays.I don't want anyone to suffer the way my sister has. It's not as bad as it was,but it's still an issue for her.
The moisturizer that worked for Ivy is La Roche-Posay Lipikar moisturizing cream. I recognized the bottle; it's the same one that I use for my own eczema. It's such a good cream!
Ugh poor baby. Thats awful, she has no idea why this is happening to her. Dr. Emma is honestly a miracle worker. Im so glad they went to her so early. We see so many of these episodes where people have suffered from conditions for decades
The parents said that they had to wait 18 months before being able to see a dermatologist about her skin problems. Her regular GP wasn't able to help Ivy. That is so sad that she and her family had to wait so long before she was able to get the help that she needed 😢!
As an adult with it getting in the bath and putting creams on is like being electrocuted. It's extremely painful the stinging the pain is sometimes unbearable. The itching is constant I feel so much for her
As a mum who had eczema and then had a child with atopic eczema you have to keep on top of it and keep trying until you find the right cream/ ointment and use an emollient in the bath to put a protective barrier. Don’t be fobbed off by your doctor keep going back. I found dressing my child in cotton rather than manmade fabrics was the way to go as when you have eczema, particularly in a child the bodies thermostat is out of whack and you need fabrics that breath. Also nothing highly perfumed, no soaps etc as they just dry and irritate the skin. It is trial and error as everyone is an individual. The good thing about atopic eczema you do grow out of it, although I have found it can kick back in with hormonal changes.
oh love, god i know that pain so bad, i had the worst case of Eczema sickkids Toronto had ever seen in a toddler, putting the cream on HURTS SO MUCH!!! it gives relive but it stings at first
It looks like it's LaRoche Posay. They have a section for Eczema on their website and from the glimpse of the bottle in the video it seems like it's probably the triple repair moisturizer.
I've used that one as well and it was good, but did not solve any of my issues. I was that little girl when I was young and at 37, I still haven't found the golden solution. I like the L Roche Posey Lipikar Baume, but I've had better success with Alfasan Repair (or Locobase Repair, it's exactly the same thing and formula). It's been doing a good job for over two years, which is rare and much longer than usual.
Gosh it's horrible to have to put your child through something painful, even when you know it's for their benefit. I remember my daughter had a horrible diaper rash one time, even though I changed her very regularly and she never sat in a dirty diaper for long. I had been changing her even more frequently and using OTC rash creams, but nothing seemed to help. It broke my heart to have to clean her and put on the prescription creams we got so frequently, but within a few days it worked wonders.
It's La Roche Posey Lipikar Baume. I've also used it before with some success, but not the massive improvement this little girl has seen. I'm very happy for her because I lived my entire childhood looking Ike her at the start.
My 24yo has eczema. I never had any issues with it however I had psoriasis and rosacia which have both cleared up. Recently, Ive been getting "rashes", "flare ups" on my neck, elbows and tummy. I think its eczema.
Have you tried any of the hypochlorous acid sprays for these patches of flare ups? It’s called an “acid” but it’s really not acidic like we might think when we hear the word “acid”. It’s more like a very, very dilute bleach water and smells like pool water. People with really bad eczema often find relief from dilute bleach water baths so it makes sense that hypochlorous spray works so well. It has virtually no side-effects and gentle even around the eye area. There are several different brands on Amazon that sells it. No need to spend more on it, it’s all the same stuff. Great for piercings, wounds too!
Poor baby. I get bad eczema as a 25 year old, I can’t imagine it at her age 😢 I’ve found the chlorine in our water makes it really bad, my husband just ordered a water filter/softener for our whole house
Looks like La Roche Posay moisturizer, great lotion, found in drug stores. Expensive, but really helps! They have amazing body washes for eczema that go with the moisturizers.
Poor baby. But i know feeling well. Knees, inner elbows, fingers. Cream hurts soaking in, skin hurts healing tight, itchy. Only thing that works is penaten cream.
I dont like saying this because it can't really be proven but, my name is chase and my parents would lose me all the time as a toddler because I was always running, names effect who you are in ways i cannot explain. That being said please don't name your child ivy, because a part of me feels like that's why shes itchy.
My children both looked like this and their names mean ”free man” and ”my God” respectively. But I have to say I too noticed the coincidence with Ivy. It’s such a pretty name though.
Ivy is so sweet, it is so hard to see your child suffering. Dr. Emma is incredible!
Makes it all the more rewarding when the problem is resolved right.

You need to see an immunologist/rheumatologist.
Carpet in the house can cause eczema to flare up. It was like that with my niece!

Amazing what a competent doctor can do. Dr. Emma appears to be one.
Dr Emma is increíble and always makes the patients feel safe and heard. We should all be so lucky to have a Dr Emma in our lives 🌹

This is nothing short of a miracle for Ivy! I’m so happy that Dr Emma was able to help ~ she is a lifesaver!
Sweet Ivy....so glad Dr. Emma helped this wonderful family. 😊
I FEEL SO HAPPY FOR THIS BLESSED FAMILY..

What an absolutely lovely family! So happy for them. You could see the relief on all of their faces. So happy for them!

Thank you for helping to heal this precious child’s body; you’ve given her back her peace and joy.

I am so happy for this little girl and her family. Thank you, Dr. Emma, you're the best.

We need Dr. Emma here in the states. Maryland to be exact! I just love her!
This story is both heart-warming and inspiring!
Such a beautiful family beautiful child beautiful parents I hope it works out if she gets better love from America❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a wee sweetheart
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME AND AMAZING
Dr. Emma ❤ is the best
Aww.. poor baby. 😢❤
The change is amazing
Poor girl. I wish her nothing but the best in the future. This is heartbreaking. Kids don't understand.
Ointments or creams with hyaluronic acid is critical. Something with little to no chemical preservation is also key.
Poor sweet baby.
This should be an advertisement for La Roche Posay! Their cream did wonders whenever my skin was irritated as well ❤
What cream is it please?
@@TrinaMadeIt For my face, I use Toleriane by La Roche Posay.
What cream?
@@thakanepitso427 Lipikar

Horse milk is also recommended with these kind of skin conditions! Just an extra step that may help.
Night and day improvement! Ivy is a different person!
Loved and lovely 😍 ❤
aww poor 😢 baby
The kid's father has some of the best hair genetics I have ever seen. He should grow that hair and take advantage of his dht resistent hair follicles.
Disagree, his genetics led to the kid's condition and that hair looks like a hair transplant tbh, the hairline is too straight
how wonderful.why did the other doctors not help them more.happy family now.

It would be interesting to hear what was changed.
LA Roche Posay lotion is being used as the new moisturizer! It's a game changer, can usually find at your drugstore.
oh love, god i know that pain so bad, i had the worst case of Eczema sickkids Toronto had ever seen in a toddler, putting the cream on HURTS SO MUCH!!! it gives relive but it stings at first
Can we possibly have the name of the magic moisturizer that doesn’t sting? Prescription, AquaPhor and CeraVie all make our little one scream. :-/
It looks like it's LaRoche Posay. They have a section for Eczema on their website and from the glimpse of the bottle in the video it seems like it's probably the triple repair moisturizer.

It might be Cetreben (I use it) but not 100% sure x

I was born with that condition. Grew out of the worst of it, cracked bleeding skin…
It is so hard on parents and infant. Infants with skin issues must be seen early.

My son is 5 and is like this too. He’s autistic. I put lotion on my little guy , I call it the oh so nice lotion.
To bad it didn't show the lotion so others could get it from thier practitioner
It's not a prescription lotion. It's just La Roche Posey Lipikar Baume, which you can buy easily
It's disgusting that a little baby has to wait for so long to be seen.
Poor baby. The babies skin looks miserable 😢

English people tend to be more reserved, but it doesn't mean they not affectionate. A child with painful skin may not want hugs,.
