I genuinely haven’t seen a doctor with better bedside manner than Dr. Emma. She always has an amazing professional demeanor no matter how big or small the case.
I cannot imagine how painful these ulcerations must be. I wouldn't be walking around, that's for sure. People who manage these kinds of symptoms blow me away with their strength and bravery. Thank you for your work, Dr. Emma, and thank you to this patient for sharing her story!
Dr Emma is the doctor every patient dreams of. Especially when you have a history of a chronic illness and you feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel
I watched this case like 3 or 4 times now, because I just love to see the progress and the happiness in Katie. It's so nice to see her condition improve for her after all these years. Gotta love doctors like Dr. Emma
I can’t believe that you’re ulcers are getting better! Why don’t Doctors offer this treatment when the ulcers began to enlarge? I’m so happy for you and you will be able to get well soon ❤🙏😊
I tried to get my friend to ask for this treatment as she had leg ulcers up n down her lower limbs, back n front. She was supposed to have 1 limb amputated. They almost healed but then she got sepsis. She was diabetic and 59. Still can't believe she's gone. She was too young.
Just watching that poor woman walking is painful. She is so tough. But after those treatments and the new creams, she looks better, healthier in general, and I hope it continues!
My daughter also has Pyoderma gangrenosum. She has been extremely fortunate not to have the level of pain experienced by other people. She has had over 100 treatment sessions in a hyperbaric chamber. This certainly improved her skin, but even more significant healing occurred when she was also treated with pressure dressings. Currently, she only has to wear surgical stockings to maintain her skin and prevent new ulcers from developing.
I started the O2 chamber therapy 5 years ago and LOVE it! I have Lupus and started having seizures so I rang up a family friend and off the ice arena I went. I go in my bra and knickers, the players are in their knickers or just a towel. I tell them how horribly they played 🤣🤣🤣 It’s a hoot. (My da played for the Red Wings, NHL team, so I get some fun perks.) I’ve never felt better in my life and the seizures stopped completely. My hair and skin have fared rather well, to boot. I don’t look 53!
I have a former friend with worse skin ulcer… hers is about 10 cm long and around her ankles… all you see is flesh. It was terrible watching her then - this reminded me of her.
I've had the same leg elcure I have had it for over a year. It either got so so so bad were it was just raw no skin. Then it would be okay. I finally met this doc he made bleach water and baking soda.....there's a name for it u can buy it at the drug store I'm telling u it went from being massive to being smaller than a dime and since that treatment stopped even a new dressing change I just stay in pain. So I completely understand your pain and I'm so so sorry you have to go thru this
@@jessicajoslin9449 you mentioned about the bleach water and baking soda mixture for dressing the wound, i would like to know more about it, the concentration and the mixing methodology
@@darylVikingIT you have to look it up. It's very delouted hence why it doesn't cause pain doing the dressing. Type in Google bleach dressing for wound care the Instructions on how to make it and the store kind name
Im a vegetarian and I actually think this is bad advice. She should increase her protein intake and cut down her sugars for maxium healing. I know beans and legumes are a source of protein but that can also increase her sugars. Honestly a keto diet would work well for her.

I have worked in health care twelve years but my entire body still clenched when I saw those ulcers. I can't imagine the pain she must be in.
That poor woman. How does she wear shoes??! Her pain threshold must be off the charts. I’m so glad she has finally found the right treatment!
My guess is she wore the shoes for arch support since that could help with the RA pain and/or to block other elements getting to the ulcers :/

Benefits of receiving quality healthcare from a doctor who knows what she is doing 😊. Im so happy for the patient
The difference the chamber therapy has made in short time is amazing. She did look so much healthier.
She is so brave, she is so strong, she is so nice, she speaks calmly, I started crying and I can't stop, it is awful!
I like the way Dr.Emma is so friendly with her patients.
I hope we get an update on this lovely patient. And Dr Emma is amazing! 🎉

Dr Emma, you put good things out into the world. God bless you.
oh, this absolute poor woman.. no one should have to suffer like this🥺😭
Those ulcers looked awful, but the unseen part is the pain Katie must have endured for years in addition to the pain of chronic rheumatoid arthritis.

It’s so amazing. Dr Emma is truly helping this patient to heal. Remarkable.

I’m a geriatric nurse and I thought I’d seen the worse of worse but good god this poor woman and she’s not elderly this must be horrendous
My grandma suffered with them, she always had bandages on her legs to cover them. She had bad varicois veins too.
She needs Synchri and Ger Oxy from Gernetic International also. Good to see her feeling better.
Underlying systemic infection?

How many weeks of oxygen therapy?
Is she diabetic? How does this happen?
Why do they wait so long for a better treatment?
That looks terribly sore .
I would be terrified of sepsis .
Guessing she's diabetic?
If they stop eating meat for a WHILE they will heal better.
I missed the part where she was eating a bunch of meat. Please indicate with a time stamp
