Alnmouth For Alnwick Station - ECML

In this video see's be travelling up North on the east coast mainline to Alnmouth. Located in Northumberland UK, Alnmouth station is served by Cross Country Trains and Virgin East Coast Trains too. Northbound to Edinburgh via Glasgow Central and Southbound to London Kings Cross via Newcastle, Manchester and Bristol Temple Mead's via Birmingham. Trains run once on each platform on the hour. We won't be back in the North East this side of Christmas. I do know that next year for one of our holidays, we will be returning to Scotland and depending on if the diverts run again down the Hartlepool stretch, we might be there again

Do you know if there was a speed restriction in that area? The trains passing through didn't seem to travel as fast as they would normally do.
