I am self-taught Data Engineer as well. I have an honors degree in Industrial Psychology. Graduated in 2016 no gap year nothing. Worked useless jobs for a solid 4 years before resigning from my customer service role and started self-learning full-time. Now I have 3 years in the tech space work for one of the Big 4 and I know I am looking to get into a more intermediate Data Engineer role. As I have quite a bit of client experience as an Analytics Engineer.
Hi Boni, My name is Derrick. We cannot wait to watch this show. This guy has been a great inspiration. Am a self-taught web developer and also just completed AWS Cloud practitioner certification, I will be doing the AWS certified AI practitioner in Jan 2025. My plan is to get the aws golden jacket. Please ask the village guest to tell us the AWS certs that he holds so that we get a better direction.
You just need an IT degree or diploma and a passed interview or a cert and a passed interviewed to start a career in cloud engineering. Starting a career in a field means you will start exploring or being exposed more in getting expertise with it.
@liferesetwithboni you studied hard to gain those skills they require, if they want to pay less they should hire less skilled individuals for less skill intensive roles 🤷🏾♂️.
It's one of my first videos in 2022. Look under careers playlists, but I have to re-record. It's not scheduled for January. Remember, there is free to audit, which means you can access the material for free, but to get a certificate you need to pay, free has no certification, and then there are professional certifications. If you want to put it on your LinkedIn and CV as a certified person for that skill, you need to pay, unfortunately. But learning is free, you can get skilled up without paying.

My question is why can't a company jump you from 300k to 1M a year if that's what your specific skills call for you to earn?
Hhay bo how??? 😅😅😅
