    I love snakes and have four different types. You should get a sand boa I have one and I think they’re better for beginners than hognoses. A sand boa would do really nicely in that tank

    She knows fish, and she knows HER fish. The educational value of this film is impressive. The attention and detail to each biotope is accurate. She has an obvious talent for scapeing. Very enjoyable video. Thanks Creative Pet Keeping for letting Prime Time Aquatics treat us to your fish room!

    That betta doing laps constantly is so cute. Such a personable fish!

    I didn't care for the invisible fish - it hides too much. Definitely Dragonwood.
    I like the decorated Betta tanks - I wish more people would do that.
    My favorites are the gold oscellatus too! I'm setting up a 40g breeder just for them.
    Thanks for the great tour! Was that a Border Collie?

    Do you know what I like about this fish room? A lot of hobbyists and breeders focus almost entirely if not entirely on one genus. I'm so impressed that this young lady collects exactly what catches her fancy. The variety is delightful. And I agree with her advice about the 20 gallons. I would recommend 20 Longs, especially because those of us who are girly girls, elderly, or just don't have enough upper body strength can actually move a 20 long by ourselves if we have to. They aren't fat and bulky but are kind of long and skinny. This is especially important with my reptile collection, because I end up moving those tanks quite a lot, but even a 20 long aquarium can be shifted fairly easily if I need to. Also, because of the swimming room and surface area they hold more fish! Yay! Also they're easy to move from one home to another. I've moved a lot of fish very often all around this country, and it's always my favorite 15 tall or 30 tall that ends up getting cracked in the move. I've never lost a 20 long, even the time when the trailer rolled over!

    I personally think a 29gallon or maybe a 20long. Is the best starter tanks

  • @Akina1517

    I love this and as a starter hobbyist...this is what I strive for. All of these tanks...❤️

    I’ve heard that Ocellatus Gold make good parents, but like you, if I leave them in the tank they go missing once they become free swimming. Because of this, I now pull fry the moment I see them peeking from the shells. Currently raising 85+ Ocellatus fry 👍 Nice tour. Always great to see how other hobbyists set things up. Nice to hear her say “know you limit” vs keep getting more tanks. I’m at that point in my fish room unless I automate the water changes 100%. We’re empty nesters now so I don’t have the hired help of kids anymore. 😉

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  6 років тому +1

      I’m pulling them now too!

    Great vid. I loved seeing your complete setup and all the different fish. I have a black orchid betta I got at Petco. He had fin rot but loved the new small 2.5-gallon tank. He's gotten over it and loves his planted tank.
    I really enjoyed seeing your fish and how you had the different tanks. Thanks for letting us in.

    Great fish room. ...you got my favorites fishes. Ocellatus. ..yes. .one of the most interesting fish in the world. ..with mostly friendly behaviour with some time aggressives moments. .and the pleco long fin is amazing. ..I got the red variant at my fishtank at work. ..and they are so lovely to watch. ..oh..and your invisible fish needs to be named. .In germany we called none seen friends and pets everytime Harvey. May it be alright that you would name him so? Many greetings from Berlin in Germany. ..In was nice to see this lovely fish room. ..thanks for it
