We have the Destin by DR Horton in Florida and the open floor plan is amazing.
Gosh this is a mansion. To close off that space, I can get my hands on an old bank vault hatch in Goldfield. 😎😁
142 per square foot, which is a good price in the Valley now. Could you imagine a place like this for a single person. A theme room for everyday, a library, a home theater, guest bedroom, etc. Perfect for that retired single dude who has everything and needs room for everything.
This place is muy fab. I can't believe a cast iron tub, that thing is expensive.

If this house is only one story, I would operate a group home, license for 10 patients/residents, 2 residents/patient in each room. The extra in laws suite will be my Caregivers private room, the extra garage will be my supply/equipment room, & the other half of 2 car garage will be my office. I will turn the loft space into a visitors/family room with partition and glass door. Again if this is just a single story house.

Great to see things included in price of home....do you know if the next gen has a separate electricity meter? That would be great for being able to rent it out. I don't see a problem with the Homeowners association if the unit is rented out for more than 30 days at a time. But it's best to check since this is in Nv...
Huge home and good floorplan . I especially like the downstairs living area and the covered patio....thanks for the tour....
A big selling point would be if these houses in these hot states would automatically come with the pool when they’re already half $1 million .The small apartment is a big bonus but not if HOA’s prevent you from renting it out. These days everyone is buying to rent out a section.

I looked at Richmond American and Lennar Homes in my area these are nexgen homes. None of them have full kitchens in the next-gen portion. Although I was told you could rent the next-gen portion all day long. Not sure why none of these builders, build a full kitchen and their next-gen Suite. But as stated here it would be considered a duplex. Unless you have a teenager or Grandma living and sharing the Main Kitchen it's not practical for renting out to someone else.
They need to build these in northern California!!!
This house is worth every dime. I'm never generous in complimenting American homes. However this one is worth it.

With the D.R. Homes would it be possible to make one of the bathrooms upstairs 2 bathrooms? Love the house but a bathroom with attached to the bedroom is a major PLUS.
Not every city will allow you to rent the next gen suite before you check HOA check city guidelines. The next gen can not be closed off from the main house do to the zoning of single family.

Omg 😱 that’s a zero lot line, NO THANKS! Ours is a DR Horton home in Palm Beach and almost 3,000 sq ft. We love it but they really cut corners, so we’ve redone everything.
Will they build the wiring to accommodate a stove for the separate rental unit? Nothing sucks more than to have to pay for electrical wiring after all is built is very costly.
They will not do that unfortunately

All the builders out there use the same 20 or so contractors. The quality of the home is in the materials they use, the layout, the design.
Here in Alabama It's different. He need to choose better contractors and workers here.

Why aren't ovens allowed in these units?
Adding a stove would make it a two family home, that is not allowed by HOA.
No way its 4425sq ft. Are they counting the garage as well? Also this looks like a modular built home.
Garage is not counted in the sqft. Consider its a wide angle lense so the rooms might seem smaller then what they actually are

Friendly critique: Anyone buying a residence between the prices of $150k -- $500k probably doesn't want to hear the word "cheap" used to describe anything involved in their purchase. Sure.. People that can afford $1,000,000+ houses might critique them as such, I've got a few people like that in my phone now. My Stepmother has two such houses. Perhaps "value for the dollar" is a better way to describe a neighborhood or a feature of a home. #mytimeisexpensivetoo

These homes with beautiful space need a larger, double pane, door. The door kills the looks of the home

I would make that wall off I got no kids I do like the wall off to give that a slot and do air BRB the main house and pay it off in 5 years
No stove, dishwasher - for $600,000., can do better
DR Horton is a mid tier builder. They may be the biggest company in the nation but their workmanship isn’t as great as people may think. Your local or smaller builder will have better quality products/details in their homes than DR Horton. Trust me.
