Yeah and then Cyclops cheated on Jean with the White Queen Emma Frost. Jean died saving the world as the White Phoenix and what did Cyclops do? Have sex with Emma. Wolverine's love is pure despite his rough manners and will never cheat with any of his lovers. Yes he has numerous ones but never more than one at the same time.

In the mid 90s fg's reached an incredible form that made the majority of them never feel old despite the age. By the time Capcom was working on Marvel, Darkstalkers, Sfa and Sf3.
Every time I think about Marvel Heroes in general, I always hear the music from these old Capcom games.

Dude! Jean Grey is the most hated X-Man. If they gave Cyclops a stand alone movie about him, his brothers, and Corsair his dad. Guaranteed it does better than that steaming pile of crap Dark Phoenix.

When Cyclops would be the one chosen to be in a place like shaking hands with Ryu in a big fighting game intro screen. If that was made in the late 90s, it would have been Wolverine. He became the biggest Xmen face.

I didn't know Cyclopes knows Ninjitsu the only xmen I know who knows that fighting stlye is wolverine, psylock ,X23, and Deadpool.
ironically, in this game, he uses Flash Kicks like Guile from Street Fighter.

This game and Darkstalkers were the first games to show off the beautiful 2-D graphics the Capcom Play System 2 was capable. the colors are still vibrant and the animation still silky smooth to this day

Craziest shit I have ever seen, I have had this game on Winkawaks and I didn't know you can do chain combo like that. This is so entertaining to watch, I'm really impressed with how you managed to NOT receive a block damage from the Juggernaut, took him more than 3 HP or HK to go into hit stun. Lol

I played COTA when it came out, but I didn't start learning the combo system until MSH. Seeing this shows me how significant the changes were between those two games. The most significant change being that throws count as part of the combo and be comboed into and out of. And that throws can be tech hitted, but at the cost of meter. That would have been very useful for the hard knockdowns in MvC3.
Throws can be part of combos in all the following games up to MVC2. Timing is just way way tighter if you want the hit counter to add the throw in later games. It will usually happen 'randomly' if you like air combo into air throw. Some times you'll see the throw counted as a hit, basically, if you hit the throw quickly enough. Also an easy way to see a throw added as a hit in later games, is when Hulk, Zangief or Juggernaut does an armored move, you can usually do 1 or 2 light attacks in their armor state, then throw, and you will see "2 Hit Combo" or "3 Hit Combo" depending on how many attacks you do before throw without breaking armor.
But in games like MSH or XSF, you want to add an air throw like Ryu's to an air combo, but you don't want the hit counter to add it, so the damage resets. Ryu's air combo > air throw (not counted) into shinkuu hadoken is a shit ton of damage. In games after XSF, most throws have auto recovery so, it's a moot point, it'll just cost damage if you try to combo the throw, due to scaling.
You crazy. I was doing the rush elbow combo to the gene spice to the up MP then optic blast in the air. Cyclops & Psylocke have magic series. So does Magneto.
Such an amazing game, it still looks great after so many years. It was literally like playing xmen the animated series.
