    Dude.... UA-cam should give you a special award for being one of the nicest guys on the Internet. I stumbled across your channel via a Typhon Grom video and then binge watched around 30 of your videos yesterday! Your chilled, happy vibe is truly admirable buddy 👍
    Really stoked to see you landing this plane. I'm a car guy but about to get into planes myself, and I've learned just as much useful real life first timer info from your other plane videos as I have from the famous big time RC plane youtubers!
    Smashing through so many of your videos, and then seeing this one, I can really see how your editing skills are coming along as well.
    Top work buddy. Greetings from the UK 👍

      @bigbristv .... and don't forget fella, you can always leave your LIPO checker IN the plane whilst you fly. That's why the alarm noise is so loud. Just click the button to get the voltage setting you want an alert at (for cars I use 3.4) and as soon as any cell momentarily gets down to that, you hear the alarm and know it's time to bring that baby in!

    My nose heavy maiden was a day I was glad I had on my brown pants. I decided to fly a gray jet against a grey sky and that was exciting it’s hard to stay oriented on the jet the only indicators at distance are the gear.
    Like I said to slow down and high alpha pull both sticks down until it gets the right attitude then go about 40% throttle. The cg marks are a recommendation but maybe they used lighter batteries because my batteries have to be full back or it will be nose heavy

    Horray. Nice to see some sucess. A good tip. Get some silicon draw/shelf liner to wrap around the battery. This will stop it sliding in flight.

    Nice Job, Bris! She is really tough, how she took the first landing - poor bird 🤣 The Viper would have for sure dropped the wing like crazy, as the jet was way too slow for that angle of attack. Good thing that the Viper handles high alpha as great. You're getting much better, buddy! One could see it on each landing! Get your CG fixed (if really necessary) and consider adding shelf liner to keep your battery in place. 😉👍

      I appreciate this man, I really underestimated the distance to the ground, which came outta nowhere BTW 😂
      I think a few more times out and I'll have it down. Hopefully. Thanks again!✌️

  • @shanemichaels8289
    @shanemichaels8289 Місяць тому +1

    When landing or slowing down for high alpha pull back on both sticks then add thrust as needed

  • @shanemichaels8289
    @shanemichaels8289 Місяць тому +1

    Don’t worry about stalling the airframe it’s so forgiving if you have any amount of safe altitude it gently drops and can easily be recovered with throttle and elevator. It flies slow well in high alpha maybe 40% throttle and 20-30 percent elevator
    Steer with rudder on takeoff and landing approach

    I find mine flies well with the battery all the way back against the gear steering
    Also my nose wheel was replaced and it wasn’t straight from the factory no matter how I adjusted it. I just compensate with rudder on the ground and have the rudder trimmed for flight

      @bigbristv ha don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I have to give you a big congrats on the landings were spot on apart from the first Harlem Globe Trotter bouncey landing. You should look into FPV it's an amazing experience and makes flying more enjoyable and easier, especially with a header tracker camera.

      @@bigbristv it only does that because the battery weight in the nose flexes the fuselage ; if the canopy is held rigid in there it could crack the nose and fuse
