That was funny when the black head realized that he could make that sound dropping the bowl. So do it again. And he did. I laughed at his connection to something he can do.... like make a big sound.
My orange headed Caique Cookie Bird does the same thing if he's on his cage, shelf or my bed, he walks or hops over and throws my shiny metal things or his toys off of the ledge onto the floor. He also climbs in my 2 Love Birds cages and empties them of the loose toys on the bottom and on the floor they go.
Wow you have both caiques and a Quaker together? These are the two species I've seriously considered getting soon. Do you have any suggestions? I most likely would only get one type. The Quaker looks great for snuggling and chatting but the caiques are totally fun to play with! Lol
+Abi Ruiz I wouldn't. I mean maybe if the quaker is younger but speaking from experience my congo african grey (fair sized bird) would get bullied by my quaker whenever they were out of the cage. Though my quaker, Tui, is kind of an asshole in general to any parrot I watched over or helped raise.
+Abi Ruiz i wouldnt reccomend to do it from the start. buy seperate cages and if you are lucky they could one day sleep together. but don't count on it because a caique is to rough for most other birds
Not at all. These are a hand full. They are cute and all but they can turn on you like there is no tomorrow. They are very hormonal birds. Mine is extremely happy and then all of a sudden shes going from sweet to sour within matter of seconds. Thank God I kind of notice when shes about to go berserk.
I used to bird-sit a blackheaded caique and oh god do I miss the lil' purr sound they make and all the cute bunny hops when they get excited!

This is so funny! All my Caiques love to drop things and watch them fall.

Man their straight up hooligans lol
Oh they are having so much fun exploring! They are precious.
I have 3 Caiques myself and they are funsville!
Hello:) Are they really THAT loud? Some ppl say they scream 24/7
Wow! What a couple of trouble-makers!!!!
They are so naughty😄!!
Testing gravity - a favorite pastime for mine as well.
It's a good thing you have outlet covers, or else they'd be over there trying to stick forks in the sockets.
That Caique is like, stop distracting me, I am going to kill myself and you aren't going to stop me!
Those birds are a little nutty and I don´t know why🤔I love the Caique birds for being so silly😂
They are definitely on a caper lol

ADHD in bird form
Do you have the caiques and Quaker together in the same cage? Please let me know I'm planning on getting a caique and I already have a Quaker

You can’t have Caiques with other species in the cage. The caique can hurt them or worse.
3000$ right there
3grand well spend probably more because caiques are going up in prices and range from 1500 to as high as 2 grand but totally worth it..
caiques are them same as love birds right?
no, love birds are Agapornis, caique's are Pionites.

@@salomaocunha Dont generalize caiques like that just because you experience those things with your caique doesnt mean all caiques are like that..
