An amazing over view of the course! How do you get your lead to be so black and smooth looking please?

The cementing process usually makes the lead matrix black, together with lots of elbow grease!!

Cementing? Interested. Why not use silicone to weatherproof?

Silicone is far too messy and doesn't last as long as traditional cement.

Maybe I'm using the wrong word. I suspect it is less durable but the kind if caulking used for windows is not too messy.

@@josephflahiff5236 I agree cementing with whiting is very messy and time consuming, but there doesn’t appear to be a better way to weatherproof lead and glass other than this way 😟
