Lord teach me to be humble and change my proud heart into a person You want me to be.
Pride persists by persistent repudiation of Holy Spirit's anti-pride function - tremendous empowering superbly enabling true Christians to eagerly pursue holiness, the dynamic nemesis of self-centered pride. Read this very reason for God's salvation, "For God saved us and called us TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was His plan from before the beginning of time-to show us His grace through Christ Jesus." (2 Timothy 1:9 NLT) - in perfect sync with "As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as He who called you is holy, you also BE HOLY IN ALL YOUR CONDUCT, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:14-16) - In tandem with "We have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." (Hebrews 10:10 NIV). Pastors, are you into preaching this centerpiece of the gospel? If not, read Galatians 1:8-10 and weep. Ganyan talaga.

Holy Spirit thank you for opening the eyes of my heart, to make me realize that I am a very proud person. I am guilty of being so judgmental of others and think highly of myself. I’m so sorry and please help me to examine myself thoroughly and help me to surrender myself to you completely without any reservations.
This is the gospel we need not those dealing with the so called prosperity. Be blessed dearest Pastor

Father Lord God, the Supreme Ruler of the Universe,Please forgive me. I have been a proud person-proud inside humility. Thank you Pastor and Grory back to God . It is God's Spirit that using you directly to speak to us. Am really blessed. Thank you God Father In Jesus Messiah's Name.
This is not an accident seeing this in my notification, I am quite surprised I got notification when in fact I didn't even activated the notification bell. But I know, it is God's way of reminding me of who I am to Him. For 4mos now I wasn't talking to my husband. We had the worst fight and misunderstanding the rest of this year 2021. I cut off communications to him, everything. I knew it was my fault because I was the one who did it first. And this is God's way of reminding me I become so self sufficient and self-centered that I think I didn't need my husband anymore. But God choses him for me. And while in deep tears while listening and watching this preaching I know God spoke to me in a very personal way. I was wrong. I was proud that it made me sin. My anger, my hatred and disobedience caused me so much trouble that I fooled myself I still have peace when in fact I don't. Thank You Lord for You are really sovereign and You always hold unto me. Thank You for the Wisdom Lord. I will message my husband and ask for his forgiveness.

As I have learned in the past, this sin of pride is the first sin in the whole universe. It was committed even before the foundation of the world. It was committed in the spiritual realm by an angel Lucifer. And when God created man Adam, he was infected by this toxic, through the temptation from this same angel who committed it.
This pride remind us of what our Lord said in Matthew 23:12. " Whoever exalts himself will be humbled,"( Was demonstrated by satan. See Isa. 14:13-14) "and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." (Was demonstrated by Jesus. See Phi. 2:6-11). And as the apostle Paul said... this must be our attitude. (verse 5)

This message really resonated with me. It was such a good reminder that all I have and will ever accomplish is a gift from the Lord. It's so easy to get sucked into praises from people, power, position and possession - when one thinks "If it's to be it's up to me". I am grateful that the Lord has used you as a vessel to remind us to check our motives.
I believed that prayer with action is powerful through our Lord Jesus Christ in our heart.

I wondered about that myself, as I tell my children how proud I am when my children make good choices. But I hope I am not leading them to become proud.
Pastor peter did say that the motive is what matters most. The motive for me to say how proud I am is saying how happy I am for my children s achievement.
