Amazing. My sisters husband is hungarian, My family visited his family in Budapest, One night my brother in law, his father and I went to see traditional hungarian music and dance. It was amazing. I remember this piece from the performance.
Way back in the 1960s I played accordion in a band and played this piece of music almost every weekend at weddings, 25th anniversaries, etc. but did not know the name of the song we were playing (I was in my late teens). It took me awhile to find out what the name of that czardas was. But now I know. Thank you UA-cam and DC Music School!
honestly i love heavy heavyyyyy metal like grindcore and brutal death metal. But i grew up listening to this because i was raised by a hungarian grandmother who came over in 56...i absolutely love this music and appreciate all classical music (music major influence). these guys are perfect, i never heard it better preformed. Hungarian music just calms my nerves and makes me happy as hell idk maybe thats the hungarian blood in me
Hello i meet a friend from Hungaria when i was on kibbutz in isreal 15 years ago. i cant spell his name so i cant find him on face book, he tolm me his name was Balash Nedler. can you spell his name correctly so i can search on facebook. Thanks
@@survarium8202 I'm currently studying Hungarian, and might be able to help you! It could be spelt Baldás Negyler, or possibly Baldás Nedler. I hope this helps :)
I am conducting a funeral service for a Hungarian lady tomorrow who was 104. She has lived in her own home in Bowral, Australia, until six weeks ago and has outlived all of her family. I'm going to play this beautiful music as I imagine she would have loved it. It's beautiful! Thank you!

Going to share it with my grandcherubs, again, now that they are a little older, but they enjoyed this a few years ago even though they were only toddlers. 😊❤️

Lovely, just lovely. You both know what the hell your doing, that is for sure. No missing chords, no flubbed notes. Your are a joy to listen to and to watch! I always heard this number as a orchestra number, but the only time I heard until now is when I and my uncle play it as a violin guitar duo like your self. Stripped to the bare esstensials and it's great.
Way to go! Nice to hear others playing Hungarian music. For those asking for the sheets, info below. And if you are a Music School, please do a basic research on the songs you are posting and stop calling these "traditional folk songs" because they are not, at all. They have their composers. 1. As a native Hungarian I say : it's a real masterwork.

just simply outstanding! love it! greeting from Vietnam.
Everyone asking for the sheet music, try transcribing it instead! You'll learn a lot more about folk music by using your ears instead of your eyes.
I agree and also you will play it on your style as well, but on the other hand not everyone is able to do that .
I would like to but it is too difficult!
