@@dlsd23 that’s exactly what i did. i’m 3rd year general health science with a concentration in pre ot but i’m most likely going to be just general health science, not so sure i wanna do ot anymore.
Thank you for your msg! Yes there is some carry over since it is a medical degree! But you will need to make sure you have all of the pre-requisites before applying :)
Is OT schooling hard? And how long does it take to become one? and do they pay you during OT schooling? Sorry for so many questions 😭 occupational therapist has always been my dream job
Graduate School is not easy but it is manageable! You really have to be dedicated and really want to do your best! All programs will be stressful at some point but you need to find ways to manage your stress! Hope this helps you!
I did not go to OTA school. So I can only assume it is like most graduate programs but only 2 yrs! Doing your research and speaking to OTA students can really give you the most accurate advice! Hope this helps 😊
They actually have off campus housing for graduate students as well as on campus! I stayed on campus since I worked for my school. I would say that working and being in grad school is not easy but if you can multitask you will be completely fine! Check out my video about work and OT school! I go more in depth there! 😊
Hello! I hope that everything is ok with you! I am rita and I am a student of occupational therapy in Portugal! I would love to talk with you about how is the course in your city!
I haven't heard much about that but that's very interesting! However, don't let that push you away, there are a lot of benefits of being apart of this profession!
love your channel! i am studying for my NBCOT exam now and created a channel with different videos id think would be helpful to study. let me know what you think!
Hello! Thank you for your message! I'm unable to say yes or no to that question. I would reach out to your schools department that handle things like this! Hope this helps you!

Hey I’m currently pre-ot and a 2nd year as well. Do you think pre-OT is worth it job wise?
@@dlsd23 I think it’s up to the person. Is that something you want to do for the rest of your life ? that’s a question you have to think about
@@kortwithak As of now it is but I may switch to health science so I have a backup plan. What did you get your undergrad in for OT school?

Really want to do this literally only thing that’s stopping me is the mandatory “covid” vaccines they might put on healthcare workers 😣
I haven't heard much about that but that's very interesting! However, don't let that push you away, there are a lot of benefits of being apart of this profession!
Well OTs can work in private clinics also. I’ve never heard of private practices forcing employees to get vaccines

NICOLE TAMMARO Sure! Thanks for your comment! :)
