After Tucker Carlson conducted his interview of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the mainstream media did not seem to like the idea that an independent journalist would do this, and seemed desperate to put negative press on Tucker. But why?

My issue with Raycon is that they cost $30 more than my Soundcore buds but only give 5-6-ish hours of play time on a single charge per bud, but these Soundcore "cheapo's" give me 8-10 hours per bud and 4 full charges in the case. The Raycons maybe sound better for music but my main use is audiobooks and meetings.

That being said, this is what real journalism is, not standing in front of a teleprompter and decrying someone whose actually doing your job better than you. I would bet the roof over my head that 90% of the people trying to call Tucker some kind of conspiracy theorist or traitor in regards to this interview have not even watched it or Tucker's remarks on it.

I watched the whole two hours and most of what Putin said just flat out wasn't true. His history run down was inaccurate not for what he said, but for the several critical events he left out. Centuries of Russian rule have been brutal to the Ukrainians, which Putin obviously preferred not to mention.
The bits about a guarantee of no NATO expansion, the resilience of the ruble, Ukraine starting the war in 2014, those were blatant lies, but I don’t think anyone, even Russian sympathizers, expected unvarnished truth.
I don’t fault Carlson for softball questions. Compare an interview with Justin Trudeau by Canadian state media. That stuff makes Carlson look downright confrontational. Carlson's style is to prompt the interviewee and let them speak, just like many others do.
It was worth hearing what Putin had to say for multiple reasons, but the listener should remember who he is, the position he holds, and assess accordingly.

@@larspatriksson4744 Yah. Sure. It is reasonable to expect any history lecture to encompass Every event and personality of note in a history spanning over a thousand years.
