Buying & Starting my first Sketchbook | Filling in the First Page (Digital Artist Edition)

After drawing and illustration for 20 years I finally decided to buy my first Sketchbook. For the last few years I've been drawing in Procreate digitally so it felt so weird to hold a pencil. But at the same time it felt so gooooood!

Your son and cats are sooo cuuute 💖 I am also having a sketchbook discovery moment - I have always used Moleskine and Japanese brand sketchbooks because the paper is very high quality & smooth, good for sketching with pencils. But right now I am trying out Strathmore sketchbooks, which hold other mediums well

Thank you! I need to check them out too! I was so overwhelmed by the amount of different options. But if I'm being honest, I wasn't willing to pay a fortune for a first sketchbook. I just wanted to get a feeling of it first. 😅
