This is awesome, I just came across your channel and love it. I'm a Gambian myself and I've seen a few westerners move here last year. It's really amazing to see your guys appreciate our country this much. We're all one, enjoy yourselves 😊

This is so beautiful! The food is one of the main things I love about being out of the US. Muhammed is so adorable! I’m loving his little smile!

Thank you sis❤️. I agree with that! I struggled bad with the food during my visit to the states (but I loved that pizza hut lol).

Love this. They have the freedoms to explore the world as we did as kids. My kids have to much technology.

Salamulakum sister Aminah I always have lemongrass, mint , basil , lemon or lime with a teabag. You can add honey and sugar. When we give back home.

Muhammed is growing up so fast. I say this all of the time but you make me want to visit Gambia. I feel that way about mango. I don't like it in the US but love them in Tanzania. Great video sis. ❤

I enjoy your videos about your family life experiences in Gambia. I had to go back and view other videos I missed. You and your family appear to be so happy and contented without having all of the conveniences from the US. Continue to tell your story because I find your experiences fascinating. May The Most High continues to extend blessings and love to you and your family.

MashaAllah lovely video. Did you plant your garden yourself? How long have you guys been there now. I lived in Senegal as a kid. Now as a mom of 4, I'm heavily considering moving back with my family. I'm in senega briefly now trying to figure somethings out

Mashallah, thank you! I'm in training lol...we have a gardener that planted everything after we moved in. I hope you make it back to Africa inshallah! May Allah make it easy, Ameen. How is Senegal working for you?

Love following you and your family. Re: fresh foods in The Gambia: The variety (types or strains of each fruit) of fruits and vegetables can be different in various parts of the US. Transport times are linger from farm to table so most fruits aren't ripe when they're harvested. The soils are different, as well. I hope the soils are richer in nutrients in The Gambia. Too much industrialization here. However, it prevented starvation and malnutrition in the US. Re mint: Check to see if mint is native to your area. It can be a very aggressive plant. Native mints are better. It's hard to discern invasive and "naturalized."
