I’m caring for my 99and a half mom. She has dementia but not super bad. She walks with a walker but has a gait belt so we can hold on to her as she walks. It is hard as she slowly declines. I have been living with her for all most 2 years. I have other siblings who help. Hard decision and not a thing for everyone. Prayers for you as you make decisions, Lisa

Hi Lisa, Catching the replay, thought I was going to watch the live then wasn’t able to… it is Freezing cold in Swartz Creek mi, the wind makes it even worse! Yes have had snow! Over this cold already!
I remember on my 40th birthday, I had the shingles - but my idiot doctor tried to say I had ringworms. It took a friend on my Facebook (also RN) to point out I hand the shingles. Went back to my doctor and she pulled out an iPad to google then says I have the shingles. Went to a 2nd doctor (not commenting) and doctor took one took said I had shingles. But I spent 3-4 days in pain and psychologically thought I had worms crawling under my skin.
I've had a similar problem. I can imagine how uncomfortable you are. Benadryl might help. It definitely helps me. I hope you are doing much better soon. Love your cards!
The blue one is my favorite. I like this technique better than ironing. You are right to make your mom stay in the rehab no matter how much she fusses. Is your sister able to help?
I am so glad you liked the blue one! My sister is my really my half sister....same father, different mother. I grew up with my dad and step mother though. I was never around my mother til about the last 15 years. I didn't really see her growing up. I am my mother's only relative besides a sister in NC who is about 86.
