Preview of the Liquidmix (Liquid Mix) - An afternoon spent at Focusrite in UK where Rob showed us how it all does what it does. This is an old google-video, so i decided to add it.
Can anyone tell me if anyone have used it in osx ableton live 9 (64bit)? I couldn't find 64bit vsts. I use 32 bit vst with 64 wrapper software and it is incredibly unstable to the point that its totally unusable. I am thinking of trying 32 bit host to see how it will work. Should there be a osx version limitation as well? Did anyone try it? Please share experience. Thanks.
will be necessary to buy it if I will buy the focusrite pro 40 that comes with compressors and eqs it will be a significant piece in my studio I hav pt 11 Thanks .. great video
Did you get it working? I have the 32. Mine works great on Win 7 and I hear Win 8 is good too. I bought mine used for $125 and it had a fried Fire Wire Chip. Call Focusrite Tech support and they'll walk you through it. Couldn't get mine working so I had it repaired for $65. Works great!
it's very old and out of date now & in no way can compete with the ability of modern plugins which you can track THROUGH in realtime with low latency. However, for mixing ONLY (NOT tracking because it has high latency) a cheap secondhand one - assuming drivers exist for your OS - offers very good emulations of classic eq's & compressors. For mixing after recording ONLY however.
I Still use this marvel on every mix. Its incredible and mind boggling that the've gone and discontinued most of the liquid series.
This is a wonderfull and VERY underrated maschine .. I've also got a Replicator 8000 from Sintefex.. ♥♥♥
got mine working with windows 10 and ableton 10 :)
Would you share which driver do you use?
