is there a toll fee on this stretch of highway - if so how much each way
The existing toll for the part south of the Johnstone tunnel also covers this part. $2.60 from 1 July. Once you get on the motorway at Warkworth heading south, there is no exit until Orewa. Not even an exit at Puhoi for Southbound traffic.
