I think the Break 75 videos are great the way they are. I think a lot of us are missing the long form course vlogs that are an hour or two long or split between yours and another channel. Those videos gave me a lot help learning golf last year. It's interesting hearing everyone's thoughts on different shots and the general banter. Those videos are just a lot of fun.

I really enjoyed the " vibe" of today's podcast, whilst watching it on UA-cam, as it brought a totally fresh feel to the podcast. It included a few" nuggets " and revelations from Rick. Relaxed chat and innuendos like two mates chatting. I'm not on Apple but very much ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ in my humble opinion. Enjoy Scotland.
All Ive got from this is now we have to see Rick vs Peter finch fight for undisputed heavyweight golfing champ of the world

Great podcast Guy and Rick. Hope the bucket list works out better than when I went to Scotland st Andrews . My dad passed away to cancer and we always wanted to play the old course. I went hoping to play the old course but as a single golfer and covid restrictions I wasn't lucky enough to gain a place. However I played the fairmont Sam Torrence course a week after the European tour and the castle course at St Andrews. I really enjoyed my games and played amazing. Also sent a golf ball into the sea with my dad's name on as a memory. Love St Andrews and want to return. Good luck and can't wait to see the video and podcasts. Keep up the good work.
Your videos have really inspired me to take up Golf again after i stopped in my teens im 25 now and finally ordered a new set of clubs (Cobra) and cant wait to get them out on the course and try and break 100 finally cheers Rick! 😀

This was great. I have followed Paige for a few years now. Myself living in AZ I think Paige does a good job. To be fair I have followed you and Me and My Golf for the last 5 years. That's about when I started golfing. I've learned so much watching you all. Thanks for all the great content!
i have a set of 1994 Ping Zing's, and have thought about this same question of upgrading, after having several lessons, i hit a PB (83) last weekend. Lessons have helped way more than technology have.
I DO want them longer. I enjoy listening to you guys. I am working my up to current on ALL the podcasts. I want to be in the club house!

Rick and Guy, I am probably not alone in saying I would love longer course vlogs that you see every shot. I know this doesn’t make good UA-cam content for the average viewer, but as someone who still goes back and watches the 3 part course vlogs, I think you still have an audience for this.

Glad there is no beef with Paige 😂 I am a fan that would like longer break75 vlogs but get the short and sweet “vibe”. Is there a compromise where you could do one or two longer ones that you do post on the this channel or do a one off for the last one that is longer?

Give the people what they want, if they want longer break 75 videos with more detail maybe you could break them up into 15 min segments with a few holes at a time. Personally I'd love to hear more discussion on course management, assessing the lie, or commenting on conditions.
With the dear Rick, I thought you could have said that the guys mate getting frustrated would probably be a vicious circle so could phrase it as advise first up, tell him how important the mental game is etc (maybe put him onto a few in your back catalogue)
And I reckon it should be Rick "the shank" Shiels 🤣
I think Paige comes in to grow interest in golf. My closest friend finally was ready to give golf a go. Then he looked up UA-cam videos and got both into hers and yours Rick. That helped him with entertaining content that made him want to follow tips to improve. He started like warm about golf and is not hooked and played about 40-50 rounds this year. And he has been playing for 11 mo

I think most people prefer the full thing to little clips. I always found the clips got more interesting the longer I listened and once you had me the video ended. When you guys had that photographer on it was captivating and I sat there and watched the whole thing and I don't even care about photography like that.
Ooo Scotland nice one chaps hope you have fun up here as there are way too many courses to play on. Currently coupled up at home with bad wrist injury but can still caddy if you fancy some banter not looking to on camera would be great to see how you guys work 👍

Regarding refunds, I once walked in from the 4th due to course conditions. When I complained in the pro shop, I was met with the statement "you chose to play here"
I don't think the break75 videos need to be longer BUT I do wish you'd do a little couple of minutes outro/reflection on the round after. They end very abruptly! Love the series though :)
If you want to have a good laugh just watch from 37:50 I swear when Guy had proper good laugh it just gives me a good amount of joy. Keep up the the hilarious bants lads.

You are probably sick of people asking club questions -
I'm a 13 handicap, and wanting to buy a new set of clubs, but don't know whether to go for more player irons or game improvement irons? What would you (or anyone in the comments) recommend?
I HAD a very close friend of 20 years who was well like by everyone. There was one exception with this usually charming guy - he would get angry on the golf course when we played as a twosome. If anyone else played with us he was fine, but when it was just us two, he would act like a spoiled child by either throwing or breaking his clubs. And, if I was playing better than him, he would even suggest I must be cheating. Anyway, we played together regularly for about 15 years, and after one particularly bad round of these antics, I finally had enough . We said our goodbyes, and he said, 'See ya next week! Same time?' - I nodded, didn't say a word, and haven't spoken to him since.
Put some chrome iron head blades on the desk or some other items great show guys.

I think its tough, I think you both did the right thing by NOT saying much and letting Sophie speak about the Paige topic. It is very difficult to comment on whether someone is good for golf because we all have our own expectations. Also I think having Sophie comment from a female perspective on another female golfer was the correct thing to do. As you said Rick if you had disagreed, you would have chirped up. I think it is a little petty that she disliked that you didn't tag her... thats the negative part for me, feels she's more worried about traffic getting directed to her socials than what you guys did/ didn't say.
I think Paige had a valid point about not being tagged. I would feel the same way at work if there were a meeting or email thread discussing me or my responsibilities, and I wasn't copied so I could at least be somewhat prepared if and when I received some feedback or blowback on it, I would be a little miffed as well. People don't like to be blindsided like that.
@@roguecheddar Fair point mate, guess I didn't see it like that. Glad they've sorted out the 'brief beef' and would be nice if they discuss it in the open on the podcast if she does make an appearance.
@@MediocreHero66 , No worries, I just didn't think Paige was being petty about the traffic. I'm sure it probably gets bothersome when you reach a certain amount of celebrity and people might stop and ask about what so and so said about you in a podcast, and you have no idea how to respond because you're not looped in.

Just a quick comment, Sophie is brilliant, Paige equally so, Paige is rightly using her beauty and her golfing prowess to further her Social media career, as is Charlie Hull etc, in my humble opinion anything that encourages young men and women into the game is to be applauded. This brilliant game can be played almost from cot to grave, has huge physical and mental health benefits,

Speaking to the dear Rick question. That is a discussion to be had with your playing partner before you guys go to Play. For example they call you up and want to schedule a time to play. You can say I would like to play but The Temper is getting a bit over-the-top so if we are going to play I would like for that to be kept in control. Just my opinion. My main playing partner and I have had discussions on both of our Behavior at different times when it needed to be reeled back in.
This is so cool. You guys are great together and really entertaining and funny. I don't get the Guy hate either. Keep up the awesome work guys!

Rick and Guy handled that well. Don’t think some of Paige’s comments about Rick were fair but as she said that’s why she has a podcast. Also Rick has a point there’s a difference between an “influencer” doing it purely for money vs. one doing it because they want to help other people with a specific skill. Great podcast guys 👍🏼
