I use this vest for my service dog- I just ordered a OneTigris Apollo-09 for her though since the Juliusk9 Doesn't have enough Velcro room for all my patches. I will still be using this vest as I clip my pull strap onto the handle when she is doing mobility.

I got the Mini for my Jack Russell (11.4kg of muscle) and am wondering if size 0 wouldn't be more suitable, he looks about your dogs size (maybe a bit smaller), what your dog's breed/mix btw? He's handsome, reminds me of one I almost adopted. The advantages of size 0 are the flashlight holder, the bigger reflective area on the front, the side loops for the backpacks and the stronger ring.. I've noticed I've been using it too much to the front, I will try to adjust better and if it doesn't fit well will change to size 0.

You should never use any regular dog harness as a guide vest. I recommend YupCollars on Etsy, they sell guide dog harnesses that are VERY good quality!

They make one specifically for guide dogs, comes with a handle.
