Hey Maes. Happy for you that AIT was great. I did my basic training at Fort Jackson and I’m stationed couple hours from there. Am a 88H and I would like to change my Mos to 36B in few months. Any advice you can give me?
@@fakedungeonmaster5740 Yes... basically. more like an accountant. I thought it was great because I like accounting. Its mostly data entry. We learn a lot about the different pay benefits.
@@wenceslasoptimumentertaine1323 The 36B course itself wasn't hard. Its mostly data entry. The people who struggled were those who didn't have computer experience (you need to know how to lookup info in a large PDF and how to enter data into different places within the accounting software). I haven't had to do it for real in the field yet..
I was a 73C, Finance Specialist during the 80s and 90s. I was a reservist as a 44C for a while after that. I liked Finance, although it has changed a lot, as one would expect, over the years since.
@@burrichjoker5328 The automatic system take care of all that part. You are basically just making sure that system gets no glitches and you got to manually fix it when it does.
I'm in this video! 1:02 mins. AIT was pretty great. I'm loving my unit.

No offence but aren't you basically just a cashier for the army. Was it really that great?

I was 73C in Vietnam 68-70, looks different now.
Sounds better than being a cook. Might change my mos 😅
For the love of God, don’t be a cook, please, I’m a veteran who’s actually returning, cook is a hour demanding MOS. Please don’t do it
If you’re recruiter told you to do it, back out, it’s not too late
I loveee finance. Im currently a 19D Cav Scout so it'll be nice for me.
@@boriazone57are you still scouting? I was thinking of going cav but I’m looking at this mos and it makes sense.
Hey hey hey every job in the army is important don’t be a croc.
Sounds like the MOS for me 😎😎 only time will tell
They make it look so cool LMAO I'ma switch my mos thinking about it
While in AIT we spent weekends doing battle drills. Some were how to do our job, while under fire. Think cashier with a gun.
@@brittanymaes9737 was the AIT hard?
Will I learn about how to take advantage of benefits in my life finance related
"Payroll and Human Resources" for anyone who not fluent in military occupational specialty (MOS).
NOT Human Resources. That’s a whole different mos with different responsibilities
Human Resources is 42A
0:44 Data analytic, Mathematic and Statistic? I'm not so sure about that lol

What duty stations can 36B go to?
Where money is at, so basically anywhere especially with special operation side.
Ok... but when us this ever needed? 90%of the finances are handled by dod civilians 😂
