The fact I’m 40 now and been watching this kid since the beginning (from pond hopping to having his first kid and everything in between) and he just PINNED MY COMMENT That means the world to a long time viewer and subscriber! I just turned 40 and when I ain’t working, I’m either fishing with the dog or the kids and fiancé are with me! Im coming up on 7 years clean from heroin and doctor prescribed pills. The kids and the outdoors saved my life And we’ve been watching you every step of your journey 💯 Currently rewatching the Devils River movie💪🏼💪🏼
@@authentik2008 wow! good on you. believe in Jesus that your soul be saved. keep moving forward i appreciated that testimony& am glad Jon B pinned you !!
I absolutely loved this series man don’t give up fishing ever your the reason I push my self past my comfort zone rather it is freezing cold out to hot to wanna do anything going further up a stream or canal just keep rippin em man.
I loved this series man. Been watching for a while, you were the first fishing channel i had ever really watched and you’re one of the main reasons I started to get into fishing. Awesome channel, awesome content. Great series💪
Your next series should be on either Devils Lake, North Dakota, or Lake Sakakawea, North Dakota. You've never fished this part of the US or even fished exclusively for the fish species in this part of the US. Both lakes are enormous and I think they would provide a huge challenge and learning curve for you while also being a unique, and fun experience.
awesome content just finished watching a video you posted 3 years ago, one of the only fishing channels i can watch without getting a headache Thanks again jon
Best fishing UA-cam ever! You’ve GOT to do a big pike fishing series! I just spent my whole entire last week chasing giant pike and had a blast! Would love to see you do some more of that on the channel!
Great content! We'll start sending your channel to our clients who recently bought land from us near the lake areas. This will surely give them motivation to try new activities like fishing. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Oh man😩Fished this lake my whole life! it hurt me watching you keep that frog in your hands on the LA side after those missed fish lol. Awesome watching you fish the same waters I do though keep it up!
Snakes on the boat! 😂 another super fly video series. Always good to see you out there having a good time and catching some bass. Can’t wait for the next trip. How’s that beautiful baby girl?
Cape cod, MA Is home to giant beautiful kettle pond bass. Not many places in this country can compete to cape cod’s beauty, never mind it’s amazing fisheries. I’d be happy to show you guys around.
I don't usually comment on stuff but here goes, u said comment ideas...well in southeastern Ohio right all week is in the 80's. My opinion is that it would be pretty cool to watch you take peric around ur old college stomping grounds. As a guys who is from that area that is one of my favorite series. Add peric to the fold.....content. love the work Jon really do...as always..KEEP FISHING..NEVER STOP
good video man! been watching for years and its awesome to see you expand your business into something further with all the googans! i fished last night and missed the same fish 7 times. first was on the filthy frog then the other 6 were on a senko and i finally got her on the 8th. pretty sure she was spawning and just kept picking it up and moving but not committing.
Tbh i kinda wanna see another lake Amistad series. Amistad is soo low now though its not even a lake not what it used to be. Its a pond now lol. But there's some good spots that branch out a bunch of fingers that turned into small creeks that can be holding hungry giants.
Rainy lake Minnesota would be my suggestion, or it's bigger brother lake of the woods. Both are on the border. I've always wanted to go to fish those lakes, but never really got the chance. Love the vids jon, and hopefully more 10s to come
You need to come up to Southeast Kansas and fish the mined land wildlife area it is a crazy fishery with so many bodies of water that have good quality fish. I have not seen a UA-camr show the area off yet
Amazing series Jon!!! Can’t wait for the next big trip. You should check out Kabetogama Lake for Smallmouth and Muskie in Northern Minnesota or Norris Lake in Tennessee for big Striped Bass and/or Largemouth and Smallmouth
Ok here’s my recommendation! I dare you to fish the Queen of America’s Lakes and that is Lake George in Upstate NY. Try fishing there in July you will catch fish after fish. I’ve literally heard stories of fishermen getting 50 fish all in one day!!!!! Lake George, Lake Champlain and the Adirondack watershed are literally a fisherman’s paradise! What’s great though is that you will see the Adirondack mountains from the comfort of your boat.
dude i havent been keeping up with jon and the other googans in a while but to this day when i visit his channel the videography and effort he puts into these videos is nothing short of insane.
I am so so happy that I’m not the only one who loses his mind when A fish is missed. I missed 2 today 5/10/22 and they were Not small either 5/6ish pounds each. It was a good day but a bad day of fishing.
I would love to see you in my home state, Kentucky. It would take a while to film but a great series would be fishing in every state. Maybe a new state each month. You have viewers across the country and seeing you spread out more would be great
Make your way up to the north east while it’s still cool out. Candlewood in ct, lake Champlain or Saint Lawrence river in ny are good options. Also great striper fishing in ct/long island sound.
Just a little constructive criticism Jon B, when watching your videos, I see that you give the fish a lot of slack before setting the hook. You normally set the hook to the right side, but you dip the rod to the left first. Might help your hook up ratio if you just don’t dip left first.
You need to fish Lake Naconiche in Garrison TX. About 20 minutes away from Nacadoches. Great LMB lake and only 692 acres. It’s a gem with a lake record LMB of 14.1 lbs.
I was in a rut earlier this week when I lost 75% of the fish I layed into. Turns out it was due to a dull/old hook, changed it out and the difference is night and day. Keep your head up Johnny B!
Having that issue early this year. Couldn't find my hook file so spent 10 hours loosing fish. Did land a bass over a tree the other day. Looped the line on a tree 10 ft over the water.
Best part of the video
The random kid yelling “Sup Jon B.”
That makes ALL the work worth it💯💪🏼

Jon: wonders why he cant hook up
Also Jon: absolutely obliterates fish lip with unnecessary hook set
Literally his hook-sets are way to hard
Very necessary

I love this series! Our family has a cabin at Caddo Lake that we go to every Springbreak and it is cool seeing you fish there!
Tbh i kinda wanna see another lake Amistad series. Amistad is soo low now though its not even a lake not what it used to be. Its a pond now lol. But there's some good spots that branch out a bunch of fingers that turned into small creeks that can be holding hungry giants.
Lake Powell is an awesome fishery with lots of fish! Plus it's absolutely gorgeous!
hopefully it wont be long before we c another 'Original Film' or another series like 'On The Border', fantastic content mate.
You channel has certainly jumped into the big leagues with this series
Rainy lake Minnesota would be my suggestion, or it's bigger brother lake of the woods. Both are on the border. I've always wanted to go to fish those lakes, but never really got the chance. Love the vids jon, and hopefully more 10s to come
14:32 How often do you sharpen your hooks? Dull hooks loose most fish!
In my trade a good carpenter always has a sharp pencil.
You gotta do a Striper trip to Beaver Lake in Northwest Arkansas! The lake is crystal clear and the landscape is beautiful, trust!
I love the wind-up before the hookset to give the fish time to eat the frog. It's like you're trying to hit dingers, lol
Absolutely loved this series do more of these Maybe lake Winnepesaukee NH nice brown bass up there
a return to Kataghin or ponds and streams going up Mt Washington.
its great seeing that it can happen to anyone! enjoyed the series Jon! California Delta next up!?!

Would love to see Lake Erie / other Great Lakes trip!!
did ya watch the tournament video he did wit Ryan on Lake st.Clare? about a year back on his channel. really great video.
Great series
There is a lot of Lakes in GA you can come fish! I suggest Clark’s hill between SC/GA line
You gotta come fish the CA Delta sometime, insane amount of species and double digit LMBs everywhere
Great series Johnny!
Place looks epic bro🔥🤘
Come fish Center hill lake in Tennessee right next to crossville where you fly fished little creeks! Then Dale hollow for smallies
@14:20….. that’s why I hate frog fishing 🤣
Jon ,I think you should do some California Delta bass fishing.
Come on to Northeast Tennessee!
That lake looks like a topwater wet dream. Keyword is "looks" according to this video. Lol I would still love to check it out
It'd be sick to see you guys come to lake of the Ozarks or Truman up here in Central MO
I watch lots of utube videos and you produce some of the best work out there. Keep up the great content

Come to NYC would love to show you around the fisheries of upper Westchester county!
I think its because the hooks on your frog may have dulled, you caught a lot of fish on it 🤔

Lake pickwick would be great for this series. It’s on the border of three states with some giant large mouth and smallies!

You should come fish Raystown lake in PA. It’s a very deep clear lake with some nice smallies and some decent large mouth in it.
For a next on the border Table rock lake would be sweet because it is in Missouri and Arkansas
Bad day fishing is better than a good day at the office. It's frustrating but hey at least your in the fight.
