Still absolutely amazed about the simple hack. I am a drummer. So, is it really like that, that sometime you know the keys which are in a particular scale...? I mean, there are 31 for 12 keys...
My pleasure. I'm not sure I fully understand your question but if you know a scale or any pattern in a particular key you can mark it and move it on paper to another key!
Thank you! That’s a good question. Simply put the amount of sharps gets unwieldy after a while and they get hard to keep track of. 7 is about all people can keep track of. For instance the key of C# has 7 sharps. Your proposed key of A# would have to have 10! As for G flat minor - that key does exist. It has 6 flats. :)
Good question. So… A natural minor comes from C major. You go down to A and play all white notes from A to A. But.. this means there is no proper 5th chord or dominant because you only have Em. To get E Major which will more pleasantly resolve to the one you need to raise the 7th note of the A natural minor scale (G) up a half step (to G#). Now we have a new scale to accommodate this new note and it is called a harmonic minor!! :)
Hi there. Thanks for buying my guides. Which pack did you buy? It was probably All Scales. That one has only scales. Would you believe that I only put up the arpeggios and chords pack yesterday. Check it there and you will see. If you bought them and didn't get them, let me know. :) stan.store/martinfinnmusic
@@martinfinnpiano, I bought the $20.00 pack yesterday, about 2 a.m. (Brazilian time). It was the "all together" pack and I've just seen another one released there. It'd be a good idea to offer a discount code for those that already did the purchase thinking that it was the complete pack... Just saying :)
This is actually game changing
Thank you. I really appreciate that. Tell your friends!!
Mind absolutely blown!
Great! Thank you. :)
I’ve been slowly practicing my piano scales and was literally wishing for this about a week ago lol
Fantastic. Glad to be able to help!
Incredibly cool and useful, Martin ... Thank you! 🙂🎼🎹
Thank you for that lovely comment. :)
Very cool.
Well that is just plain genius!
Ha ha!

Super cool. Here's a couple of novice questions: Why is b flat major not called A sharp major? Or f sharp minor not called g flat minor?

I am still doing my best to be financially stable. I don't have a tip to give but I will do my best to help your channel grow. That's a promise.
Thank you. Of course. I really appreciate that!!
Why did the A minor had a sharp 7 ?

Wish there was a way to do this on guitar
Let me look into that. [Goes back in shed. Sound of hammer]
@@martinfinnpiano Hahaa Thanks brother, PS You're a genius 🤟
Hee Hee. My pleasure!@@screamingunderbelly
I've bought the complete set of guides from you, but I didn't receive the arpeggios or chord guides. Where are they? 🤔
