Also, that tele looks and sounds amazing dude!
Thanks for making this vid man there aren't meny reviews of these pickups here on UA-cam I liked how you gave a run down of a few different ones rather then just one or your favorite one anyway one thing I've noticed about these pickups (this is just what I here whenever looking up this brand) is that there vary dry sounding not that that's a bad thing some will like it some wont but yeah nice vid
Thanks i demo a bunch more of their pickups on my page as well
I have two sets of Mule / Riff Raff in two of my Guitars.. I was digging the clarity of those Rebel Yells, they cut in a nice, modern way, without sounding too modern... something about the mids or hi mids, sounds like it can cut through the mix a little better than a typical PAF
Im undecided on getting either the stockholm or the supermassive in my PRS semi hollow baritone. Thoughts?
Enjoying your videos dude but quick question if I can - what is your amp settings for the "British clean" ?
Good demos. I like to hear chords on demos. So sick of processed beer commercial blues jams. How are you supposed to hear the pickup? Plus any pickup I play leads on kinda sounds like me. It's the rhythm sounds I'm looking for. Pile Driver and Rebel Yell sounded best, although the settings might not have been optimized for the Stockholm because it's louder and fatter.
The Mule sounds great!
Thanks for the review! How noisy is the Stockholm pickup? I'm thinking about getting a P90 Supermassive, but my stock P90 is quite noisy, so I don't know. Is your guitar shielded?
Not shielded but it's grounded twice. So that helps. I also use a noise suppressor. But they are really awesome pickups
littleredguitars2 Grounded twice?? Any info on that?:)
have you tried the seymour duncan slash alnico 2 pickups ? cant decide between them and the rebel yell bare knuckles
+Rage GamerUK i havent but they sound good. but rebel yells are A5 magnets. a bit more power.
+littleredguitars2 ty I own a vigier supra swapped the Di marzio paf and tone zone for transition pickups which I love but I want a other supra with hotter pickups for that power randy rhoads tone all out rock but not too overwound I want the clarity still there I've played a bk nail bomb wasn't the biggest fan have Dean mab2 and h8 the pickups all I hear is noise in that wanting something on the lines of a seymour jb but in a set 😊 any reckonmendtions?
+Rage GamerUK i hear the bare knuckle holy divers are comparable to the JB
I was considering getting the Rebel Yell pickups for my Gibson R7 Goldtop for a more rockier sound but i found them too heavy /fizzy in this video. The Mules sounded good but need just a little more, so I guess BK needs to now make is a cross between the Mule and Rebel Yells lol
What's your favorite pickup in this shootout?
try the abraxus. its supposed to essentially be the mules but with more power.
@@littleredguitars2 cool, thanks, i will check them out.
Hey Jon, would you mind checking out our bands work? I recently joined a metalcore/harcore band and we had our first show tonight since I joined, the video is still being uploaded and we're putting an album out soon. /user/cerasstillseven/videos that's the channel if you wanna check it out, we recently changed the name from Cera's Still Seven to I Am Vengeance and a couple of songs are on there. Thank, we'd really appreciate it :)
Recto makes everything really sound the same
