Thanks for explaining to all opera lovers the Maestro Bellini's greatest opera of all time. For it is
Ponselle and Callas's recording that is heaven to dedicated opera lovers.
❤❤❤
Boris Goldovsky came to Cleveland, Ohio with Carmen back when my Mom was 15 years old. The pianist for the opera was sick, and my mom sight read the entire opera that night for the Carmen performance. Boris wrote her a letter and asked her to come study with him when she graduated from high school. We still have the letter on the wall by the piano. My Mom ended up at Eastman School of Music studying with Cecile Genhart, and my mother always wished she’d taken Mr. Goldovsky up on his offer, because she was miserable at Eastman.
Thank you!
What a charming lady!
Schade wegen der schlechten tonqualität,-macht es anstrengend zu verstehen as non native speaker
