  • Siri has been around a long time, but could be a lot better. In this video I show you how to use Open AI GPT Chat directly on your device as your new assistant. Chat GPT and OpenAI have become an incredible tool and even Bing is integrating it into search now. I show you step-by-step how to integrate chatgpt into a Shortcut so Siri becomes Siri Elite. #Siri #chatgpt #Apple #openai

      I went through and checked myself, and I can confirm that it doesn’t steal any data at all. All it does is contact the OpenAI website using the API key and provide ChatGPT with your query. @@mbcommandnerd thank you 👍 the responses are still very very different, when I use the textbox to type my question it is pretty much 100% like ChatGPT just a lot quicker. But when I use it with the Siri way, it very often triggers a normal Siri response that just outputs some links that were found on the web, even if the shortcut was activated before and it says like „How can I help you“ or it responses with some random textblock 🤷‍♂️ try to ask with the Siri trigger „What can you tell me about you?“ and I get like a random Tinder Woman Profile in response 🤷‍♂️😆

    Thanks. I followed this and allowed access, but when I run the shortcut (and when entering 'Hi' as in your example) I only seem to get back a generic text object that contains nothing. I have connectivity and created a different key to double-check that -is there something obvious that I've missed?

    Hi Aron, this short cut works wonderfully a few months ago when you posted this video. However, currently it is no longer working. I tried to redo creating the short cut again with a new ChatGPT API key and save the new shortcut. But it doesn’t work anymore. It just stopped showing an icon of document with the word text and stopped there. Do you know what was the issue? Maybe Apple with the latest iOS 16.4.1a stopped this shortcut manipulating Siri? Do you know how to fix this so the shortcut work again? This Siri Elite shortcut is so useful, it is a pity if this doesn’t work anymore. Can you help? I am not technical enough to fix this. Thanks for helping!

      This doesn’t work. Just listens and then stops with no response. Must be something changed in how this works. If I make a second verbal response, SIRI answers with, “found this on the web.” Something I really dislike about siri. Alexa answers faster and verbally of course.

    Hi Aaron. Apple should integrate Siri with ChatGPt . It will make Siri way more responsive than it is now . Microsoft has powered their search engine Bing & their Browser Edge inteegreted with ChatGpt for latest windows pc . Technology keeps on coming & taking place of another technology which becomes obsolete with time . ChatGpt & Google’s Bard are future AI technology. Great Video Aaron. Thank you.

    • @marian8757
      @marian8757 Рік тому

      Google actually did this a long time ago, that's why their assistant is so far ahead of Siri. If you were to ask Google assistant that same question about when the 1st iPhone was introduced, it will not only give you a verbal answer as to when, but also why, and give the history of it, along with what parts of it are still relevant in cell phones today. Oh it also gives pictures Of the 1st iphones. So yeah, Google assistant has been using AI for years lol It can also hold an intelligent 2 way conversation with you, if you have the time to waste with it.

    For anyone who can’t get this to work: Apparently the API is paid now. Add a quick look action after the "contents from URL" and see for yourself that you get an error from openai.
    Likely this was changed after the making of this video, since it otherwise surely would’ve been mentioned.
