I knew for a fact it was only a matter of a time you made a video and picked you up a pair. I ordered my pair and look forward to getting on the river with them!
Same as somebody else’s question. I had retrofit my Remix with Jackson bees knees after getting the idea from one of your videos where you did something similar. After one season, I absolutely love how I fit the boat. How would you compare these to the bees knees? Any thoughts about adding the bees knees on top of these?
More comfy than the Bees Knees as the shape of the thigh brace matches the shape of your leg there. The bees knees work great, but can cause that smaller pressure point where the gorilla grips spread that contact out evenly. I prefer the gorilla grips for sure. .
Yes, I currently have the bees knees in my RMX. However, I plan to convert to the Gorilla Grips. The Bees Knees are great with the only down side being that the shape of the bees knees insert (the part that gives you the grip) is relatively small and produces a slightly uncomfortable fit when compared to a anotomically shaped thigh brace like the Gorilla that matches the shape of the leg and spreads the contact point out perfectly. The Bees Knees do work amazingly well and were the cats meow for me in the RMX as there were no other options at the time. I do prefer the Gorilla Grips in a LL boat for sure.
What is the difference between them and the original one that comes in kayak...the biggest question isn't if they will fit other kayaks it would be a matter of space once In the kayak...

Boom! You will like them!
Bees knees have been awesome
yes, I have had the Bees Knees in the RMX for over a year. They do really well. The Gorilla Grips have the big edge in comfort though.

Have you tried the bees knees? Curious of how they compare or what you may like better/worse

Is yellow your favorite color for a boat?
It is the only color...
Would they fit other non Liquid Logic boats? I could use some in a Dagger Nova
no, not without some engineering...
@@RiverKingsKayak I enjoy the process. Like engineering the thigh grips or the combing of the kayak or both?
@shenanigoon2K at the very least the grips. You would likely need to drill holes in the boat too.
@@RiverKingsKayak Cool, thanks for taking the time out. The price is right so I might give it a shot. I think they'll sell a lot of these
