Thankyouu!! Hmmn that's an interesting point you made. I think culture definitely plays a big part. Hopefully one day I'll be able to understand the thinking & reasoning behind that from a black male 👌
You're welcome sis. I'm glad you was able to take something from it. Definitely learning that the foundation is key otherwise everything built on top can easily crumble down. Thank you much for tuning in. 🤍🤍
Don't forget to put your favourite point below and your top tips! ❤ Always remember guys, we have the grace to be blessed with amazing friends on this earth but the truth is there is no friend like Jesus. Hold on to that always 😉
Great video!!! Question, do u think it's ok to have friends of the opposite sex? When I was younger I had more guy friends than female friends...now that I'm an adult, I have like 2 solid female friends in my life who are Christians & have been my friends for years now but I also have a handful of guy friends that I consider to be like brothers. Just asking because I worry that ppl might get the wrong idea if they see me talking to my guy friends like at church or when I'm out in the community (if they don't know who these guys are to me lol) I just feel like it's frowned upon to have friendships with ppl of the opposite sex, watcha think? 🤔🤷🏾♀️
Such a great question! Funny enough I wanted to ask people's thoughts on that question at the end of the video but I forgot 🤦♀️. I definitely think it's possible! With a whole lot of boundaries which differ whether you are single, in a relationship or married. I was the same. I used hang out with the guys when I was younger and no one said anything (I think) because I was young. But now like you said if people see you talking to a guy at church they will make side comments, direct comments and assumptions. I think it's definitely culture and also the way some people have misused opposite sex friendships which has made it frowned upon. Unfortunately, people will always have something to say 🤷♀️ but if it's a genuine "friendship" that is healthy and God doesn't disapprove then other people's opinion does not really matter. I will be doing another video addressing this in more depth so do stayed tuned 🤎
So true! Most people have really negative experiences with friendships so usually share the negative part. I thought I would share the positive for once ☺ Thank you sis. I'm trying 🤍
Very interesting talks sis. ‘Pray for your friendship and praying for your friends’👌🏾 very key. We sometimes just hold on to things we know God has told us to let go of including certain friendships. Building a friendship is a journey a bumping one at times where your breaking walls and really getting to know each other. Sometimes we have too many expectations from a friend from early and that could ruin a friendship. We have to learn to be patient with people. Self analysis is key. After arguments/ disagreements/ friendship break ups or whatever analyse what role you played and where the Holy needs to work on in you. As you said ‘take the log out your own eye first’ I believe we also have to learn to be forgiven even if a friendship is no more A perfect example of good friend is simply Christ Jesus. 💕
Thank you sis! It is sooo key and I think that we don't do it enough. It's not worth holding on to what we should let go of but at the same time we need to be careful not to cut off people that may perhaps be needed in our life. I guess this is where prayer comes in again for discernment. I've learned that as we grow older the more we need to be wise with our expectations and just be more understanding and extend grace. Thank you so much for sharing sis. Really key points you have dropped and I'm sure it will help others also xxx
I agree with the tip of communication and listening. I will add in accountability for both people involved. Great job on the video and I love the back drop. Great touch!!
This was a very interesting watch/listen. As black men we don’t really even discuss love languages with our partners let alone friends.

“What was the foundation of your friendship?” - whew
This was so good and timely sis. Thank you 🤍

Doing everything in love is something I've learned over time
So true! Definitely something I am still learning. Thank you for sharing x
Defo, setting boundaries and communicating those boundaries. 👌🏾
💯 So important! Thanks for tuning in 😘
Correcting your friends with love is the one! Doing everything in love is so important. We also need to look inwardly. I completely agree
Listenn sis, we do not do it enough. I was even talking to myself too on that point 😂.
Thank you once again for tuning in 🤗
