Very helpful video. The question I have is if I can find out where well activity is going on in my area. It appears some drilling has started in the last week or so because we have Sand and Water trucks running up and down our road 24/7. I am all for drilling. I just wanted to get an idea how long all the traffic is going to be going on. Thanks again for your video info.
Do you mean when a well is plugged back and a shallower reservoir is produced? “Behind pipe” typically refers to hydrocarbons that have been proven to exist downhole but are waiting on a deeper reservoir to finish producing first before being produced.
@@PecanTreeOG Not necessarily plugged, but inactive. As an aspiring operator/owner, I see a lot of advertisement for older wells with "behind pipe possibilities", or something to that accord. Most people I know are vehemently against any sort of behind pipe prospect. I can see both sides of the coin, but I have 0 experience to go off of. Thanks !
@@elonmust7470 There are definitely investment opportunities there but I'd steer you away from them also. It comes with a LOT of risk that's hard to account for unless you're very familiar with the game. A bit like flipping 100-yr-old houses, sight-unseen. The only way I've seen this work is when a field engineer or field ops specialist (who is an expert in diagnosing and working with wells) is both the brains and brawns ($$$), or if they team with an investor.
Showing pictures of the drilling would be helpful
Great suggestion!

How do you feel about behind pipe operations?
