Content idea- FAQs on popcorn buckets- location, flavors. Then show the seasonal popcorn bucket thereafter.
We will be going to Disney the week of October 14th and I am TERRIFIED!! I watch so many of these videos, but still, I am so afraid I won't be able to provide a good time for my children, or that I am going to miss something fundamental. Thank you for doing what you do.
The thing to remember about Disney is there is always something you'll miss. I mean, there are things even I don't know about as often as we go. But the key is that you can absolutely enjoy your day only seeing or doing less than a quarter of what's available. You'll just have to come back again sometime. 😂
If you're really concerned, I would just make a list of everything you want to do from my guides (rides, food, etc) and if the list starts to get really large, arrange it in order of priority. That way the most important things get done first and no one goes home disappointed because they all got to ride that one ride they wanted, or ate that churro they've been salivating over.

I probably will do one. Will see about filming that this weekend. If it’s rainy, it means the stores will be packed and I don’t like to film when it’s crowded in the stores as it gets in people’s way.
I usually film these around 8-9 AM to avoid a lot of people.
So if it doesn’t end up raining, which the weather keeps changing, then I’ll film one for publication next week.

That Winnie-the-Pooh merch is so cute.
It is. We tried to talk Benjamin into buying Winnie the Pooh ears. But he wanted Pirates. And then he decides not to wear them most of the time anyway.
But he’ll grow into them. They’re just big and don’t stay on super well. James was the same way when he was younger and now he wears them every time.
@@SoCalDisneyDad I decorated my sons room in all Winnie-the-pooh but that was like 40 years ago - Disney only had the black hats but we could get names embroidered. I told my grand girls that if I buy those ears they have to agree to wear them. They are now 14 & 17. We have been to Disney a number of times but were too old for Winnie-the-Pooh. They were more into the Princesses. Looking forward to see what ears they pick out during the holidays. I love all the Mickey ears.I bought a mini back pack - love it.

I am thinking of doing a Top 10 Tips for 2024. But I could also probably squeak out a Merch Tour.
I’m going as part of a group event. And the event ends at 2 PM. So I’ll have a few hours to film some content before the park closes.

They sell the Mini falcon and figure pack at Target, rumor has it usually sitting in the clearance endcap if you want to save some money. Great vid!

Love your videos! They helped us plan for our recent trip. My son kept looking for you and your family while we were there. Really wish you had shown the Cristal shop in New Orleans. I’ve been looking for a tour of that shop as I have so many great memories from childhood shopping there. We didn’t get to go to it on our recent trip.
I had my kids with me and didn't want them around it. 😅

We're going in March 1st time ever, and we have a free day to explore before heading into the parks to recover from jetlag, adjust to the time difference, and get used to the area. We're planning on going to look around the hotels and downtown disney :) Thought to buy our merch on that day in the big store and then keep eye out on the park limited merch when in the park.
World of Disney will have a good chunk of this stuff.
If this video is well received, I’ll probably do one for DCA and Downtown Disney as well.
I have done them in the past, but of course merchandise rotates frequently so the older videos are really only good to see what the store is like and not what’s specifically for say.

Thanks again for the super helpful video and especially for the tip to not shop on the first day. Would you say the majority of this stuff is also in Downtown Disney or are there special things only in the park?
All the major merchandise lines will be the same everywhere. But each store tends to also have its own unique set of merchandise that is specific to that store or region of stores.
Every time I do one of these videos I try to avoid doubling up. So the fact that I can still show new merchandise at the end of the tour is evidence that there IS a few things here or there that aren’t widespread.
That’s why it’s best to browse the first day or two if you have a longer trip.

Great video! Would be nice if you could do a monthly shopping video to see all the new and seasonal merch?
I generally do. I missed the beginning of January because I had too much other content that took priority, but this is the 4th or 5th of these videos I’ve made.
I make them when the merch rotates out. So not necessarily monthly. But whenever it seasonally changes.
Merch videos are my guilty pleasure. It makes no sense because it would cost me money to scratch my merch itch. LOL
It allows you to window shop without the temptation to buy because you aren’t standing right there. 😂
great video. I recently stayed at the westin in anahiem would definitely recommend location is great 10-15 min walk to the park 5ish min walk to downtown disney.
I think I’m getting a tour of that hotel in a few weeks. I’m attending an hotel touring event with Get Away Today and they have a reception at that hotel in the evening so I assume it’s one of the hotels being toured.
Content Idea: can you show us some of the stores and items inside downtown disney? Also, I heard the target down the street from disneyland has cheaper disney merchandise. Could you show us the items/clothing from that target?
I do have plans for a Downtown Disney Merch video coming within the next two weeks. Next week will be DCA. Probably do Downtown Disney the following week.

I'll be at the parks in a week and a half - my go-to souvenir is magnets (cheap and don't take up space). Besides the Star Wars-related ones, are there others in the park?
There are a bunch around, they are usually at the checkout areas in the Emporium or any other of the really big stores.

I think we might do a Genie+ challenge that day because it’ll probably be busier. So a good day to run a challenge video and see if we can accomplish all the rides.

Sure, I can try to look for new stuff. I’m not completely versed on pins so I’m not 100% on what’s new or not. But I can try to find stuff that looks “limited”

I so miss the Fantasia shop that was there in the 90’s…I bought a Mickey Sorcerer apprentice satin jacket…such a cool shop it was.

@@krystalthurman6041 It’s unlikely. I think the only place that sells festival merch are the festival shops.
How often did you see keychains on display within each store?
Keychains are usually impulse buy items by the register. But I’ve seen them other places as well. They’re more obscure than bigger items like shirts and backpacks. But there definitely plenty of them around.
Hey you passed up Club 33
Great content, although I was a tad disappointed. Disney has very few men’s specific merch for us dads. The Main Street store on the right side has limited collaborations with Nike and Tommy Bahama. It’s the store with the black hoody you were in. The Nike collection in particular tends to go fast in the parks. If you could please, when you make another one just pop in and show the collection. Thanks. My only gripe if you can call it that.
