    true to some extent, he coached 2 of the best players the NBA has seen, but you can't overlook 20+ years of experience and knowing his players psyche/strengths/attributes...and allowing them to realize themselves what they need to do...

    He´s so different from Mike it´s pointless to compare the two. Mike was a natural genius, he did his thing so easy it looked he wasn´t even trying. I think Mike retired so soon, because all the stuff was so easy to him that he got bored. Kobe on the other hand looks like he´s always trying 120%, always so intense... he of course is also a genius, but I think he´s more on the hardworking side.

    All these people saying that Mj is overrated, I think what they mean to say is that there are a lot more players in the history of basketball, that were .in fact, a lot better than Mj but don't get the recognition they deserve because everyone thinks that Jordan was the "G.O.A.T" And I agree with them, Jordan was not the "G.O.A.T." but he is still one OF the "G.O.A.T.'s"

    The 72 wins bulls had players like a 19.7 ppg and nearly 7 rebounds pippen,Steve Kerr( i don´t think there is a shooter like him on the whole league as of today,Kukoc, and still had a bench with players like Ron Harper or a young Dennis Rodman. It wasn´t all Jordan, in fact Jordan´s best career years were wen he was young and bulls always fell on 1st round vs Atlanta.Like Kobe befor Gasol arrived lalaland.

    now D fish i htink would make a GREAT coach he's a great communicator and if he can get the respect of someone like kobe on the court he'd have the respect of anyone on his team

    @EduSanjuan777 I kind of agree with you in some points you highlighted, I agre with Jordan being more athletic than Kobe and i think he was also stronger but not more skilled Kobe like you said "Kobe has more weapons, more moves, a longer shooting range, and lately, he´s also more of team player than Mike was". This is why I say he is more skilled.

    @EduSanjuan777 "lately" aka at 32 years ....MJ too started winning after he crossed 28 ....u know with these ultra competitive players, it takes a lot of time and patience to get through to them as a coach to trust their team mates and curb their ego....still u still see days when kobe goes for 30 points having taken 30 shots and made 11-30.....the only teams that have played unselfish ball and won are the spurs, pistons and celtics..

  • @Brian_tim
    @Brian_tim 13 років тому

    @Telakisu Even some of Jordan's own teammates (e.g. Horace Grant) said he put his own shot above the team. And besides that the bulls did just fine without him after the first retirement, winning only 2 less games than they did the previous season. Guess they didn't really need him to "coach" the team. There's a reason Jordan has 10 scoring titles, quite simply, he's the biggest ballhog in the history of the game.

    guys no doubt kobe is a great but don't forget this is the first video of its kind ur watching....what kobe does here every other leader does the same in terms of communication, the technical stuff such as calling out plays etc. don't start comparing MJ to kobe based on this video alone lol

  • @SamLinMaxisam
    @SamLinMaxisam 15 років тому

    I don't really think so. I just think they are both great. And it is kinda funny if you really think Mike is the GOAT but only because of coming before Kobe. It means you are just too young to know that era.

    @Geosalsa10 14 років тому

    First of all.....no one has ever done a video like this for MIKE...so no one can say that kobe was more of a team player because the players today are better prepared than ever before so you can't say he is more of a team player or has more moves to score so on and so forth......Mike was the total package.....not because of his bball I.Q. or his this or that......its simple......Micheal Jordan was a better spontaneous player with doing things on the spur of the moment making him the natural.

  • @WilliamsJang
    @WilliamsJang 13 років тому

    @iTzeXile13 exactly T.E.A.M one player cant play against a whole team, Mike was alot better and will stay better but Kobe is just as close to him. The reason the Lakers got swept was due to poor defense and un-consistent offense not all of Kobe's fault.

    @bomksh247 Holy shiz, I never considered that, Kobe Bryant as a coach. He definitely has the VISION, Communication Skills, Ability to Inspire Performance in players, etc etc. That would be interesting. It would kill me to kobe end up as another washed up former NBAplayer-commentator though, I think a coaching job would suit him.

    And if saying that Kobe, being inferior to MJ both talent and athleticism wise, can still find his way to play at a level that at times, is nearly as good as the best MJ , is saying the Mamba is more efficient so be it. I only point out that Kobe makes a best use of the gifts god gave him, and has worked a lot have a deep stack of weapons when confronting a rival, maybe even deeper than Jordan´s .MJ is not Dr.J but he was inspired by him, and Kobe´s not Jordan, but is clearly inspired by MJ
