And you should be very, very Proud!!!! Those of us who build these classic Pochers definitely relate to the for mentioned hood issues!! you did a AWSOME job my friend!!!!!!!!
Thank you very much for showing both your epic Pocher builds online. For the average small scale plastic modeller, there is a lot to learn. Many clever solutions. When you have fully recovered from the recent Pocheritis I'd like you see wrestle their Bugatti or Rolls Royce in the future.
Thanks! I actually have the 1911 Fiat. I plan on starting that one in a few months. But I would love to get the Bugatti and the Alpha Romeo at some point. Thanks again!
You have amazing patience. Very well done. I just got one of these in poor condition. I think I will also have to work on the bonnet as it is a poor fit.
??How many hours labor do you estimate were required to finish this model?? I just acquired my kit yesterday. Inquiring minds want to know. Beautiful job you did on this one.
Thanks! One thing I need to do a better job on is keeping track of time. I spent a year on it, but only a few hours a week. So I really don’t know exactly, but probably between 100 to 150 hours. Give or take.
I split each hood section (front to back) into about 3 pieces and held each end into the correct position while bonding the seams back together. Then fill and sand the gaps. I had to do this a few times to get it correct, but that’s mainly because the filler I used would shrink, and warp the hood again. So once I figured out what was happening, I used bondo as the main filler. I show all of this in a few earlier videos if you need more detail info. Thanks for watching and commenting!

What's the solution to proper fit the hood? The Alfas have the same problem
