DO this if your messy bobbins unravel and drive you crazy!
Cut lengths of crystal clear vinyl tubing to make a great bobbin holder.
Make them any length you want and use several for an easy storage system.
Carefully use a sharp blade to cut lengths and then make 2 cuts lengthwise down each tube to create an opening for inserting the bobbins.
Space each bobbin a finger apart for easy removal.
You can leave them loose on your sewing table .
You can also punch holes on the ends of each tube to either hang or screw onto wall or flat surface or piece of board.
Clear vinyl tubing can be purchased at most hardware or gardening stores.
Make sure inner circumference is smaller than your bobbin.
The curve of tubing wraps around bobbin securely to prevent unravelling of thread and bobbins popping out when tube is moved or dropped.

What type of bobbin holder do you use?
Love this. I am forever dropping and chasing bobbins. Then the thread unwinds and it's just a mess. Can't wait to try this. Thanks!
you are very welcome. Make sure not to buy cheap flimsy tubing as it won’t keep in place. I also cut them down to fit across narrow drawers and boxes. Thanks for watching.😊
BRILLIANT It's like having a lightbulb moment Why didn't I think of that. I had leg surgery last summer so I took over my guest bedroom closet, hubby built me a lager table to go onto the dest I was using, still want to keep it looking like a guest room these ideas are perfect.
So very clever of you! Thank you so much for the GREAT idea. I am going to get clear tubing from Lowes to make my own. Thanks again
Glad it was helpful!
My bobbins are in a tangled mess in a cardboard box - next trip to town I am going to the hardware store - thank you for the easy fix 😊 🇨🇦🦋
You are so welcome! Just make sure you get the better quality hose that isn’t too soft. I also cut them into shorter lengths and keep in drawers. 😊
Wow amazing idea and it looks simple And also colorful when we hang them ❤❤ Thank You sissy
My Janome and my Pfaff use different bobbins. What an easy way to keep them apart. Thanks!
Make sure to buy sturdier type of clear hose. Some of the cheaper ones don’t hold the curve as well. Make sure to subscribe, I’ll be up loading more videos regularly. Happy Sewing !
Another fantastic idea from a fantastic channel. You are so creative with clever solutions . 💐💜
Glad you like them!
I think your other idea with smaller hose and then cutting to the individual bobbin is better one. I bought 2 boxes like you have at the beginning on Aliexpress and waiting for the delivery. And then I will cut smaller hose and fill bobbins. I have so much bobbins, but about 90 percent is empty.
Gran idea gracias por compartir sin música ni introducción excelente
Sweet idea! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I love this idea. I was thinking I could cut the tubing into shorter lengths to match bobbins with spools, too. :) Thanks for the idea!! Will be using this one!!
You are so welcome! I cut them into shorter lengths to fit across my small drawers. Thanks for watching😊

For a beginner like me ...?
Auh!

Great idea! I have boxes like you showed at the beginning of this video and they are always a mess and thread going every which way.
Glad it was helpful! I also cut short lengths to fit into narrow drawer of my machine.🙂

Thanks Dale. You can even just slice these up into little donuts. Thanks for watching.🙏
Thanks Angela, I did get some tubing, and that is such a neat idea!
Glad it was helpful! Just make sure you don’t buy the cheaper lightweight stuff as it won’t hold it in securely. Cheers!

What’s nice is you can just cut to fit inside a drawer as well. Thanks for watching.🙏
I can't believe I'm just discovering you now! Your videos are brilliant, Angela. Thank you. My cats won't be able to play hockey with my bobbins anymore. Good thing I can throw them a bone instead.
Thanks Marsha! More to come😊

Lovely idea...is that a 19mm tubing..thanks..
Yes, it is. You can always use smaller as it will just spread apart more. Just make sure to buy quality tubing so it holds its shape. Cheers.
Thank youuuu 🤩🤩🤩
Thanks for watching🙏🙏😊😬
Fan idea. If you pull hard on the last inch of bobbin thread it will stay put.

I can't find the right size tubing anywhere!
Oh no! When you do find it, make sure it is good quality tubing as I find the cheaper stuff doesn’t hold as well. Thanks for watching.
You can buy a smaller size, and cut it only one time. (Without cut away the stripe)
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
thanks for watching!🙏
Lol so if you need a bobbin in the middle..all the bobbins need to come out to get to your choice..no thanks..🇨🇦
it’s very easy to grab from anywhere in the tube.
Good hack. Thank you!
You're welcome Lisette! Thanks for watching. Please share and check out some of my other videos for more tricks and tips. Have a great day!
