ABOUT SUPERSTORE
America Ferrera and Ben Feldman star in the hilarious workplace comedy "Superstore," about a unique family of employees at a supersized megastore. "Superstore" centers around Amy (Ferrera), who recently was promoted to be the store manager and is the glue holding the place together, and Jonah (Feldman), a dreamer determined to prove work doesn't have to be boring. Their fellow associates include the sardonic Garrett (Colton Dunn), the sweet and clueless Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom), and the perpetually dismissed Sandra (Kaliko Kauahi). Also on the team are Glenn (Mark McKinney), who stepped down as manager in an attempt to have more family time, and Dina (Lauren Ash), the aggressive assistant manager who enforces Cloud 9 policy with an iron fist. Mateo (Nico Santos) was also part of the team, most recently as the self-promoted floor supervisor, until being detained due to his undocumented status.

Two things I don't think this show will ever get enough credit for.
1. How it handles political topics with humor, directness, and nuance.
2. The amazing soundtrack; like every song they play is a bop.
So glad my friend recommended it for me. I've binged brooklyn nine nine like 50000 times so I always looked for soemthing similar and I can most definitely day this is my favourite now since I can relate to alot of scenarios 😂

The walkout is probably one of my favorite scenes in the entire show cause it really does show how much they care for each other
Honestly, like I may not like certain people I work with individually, but if it's representing a point, hell yea I will walk out for them! Gotta stick together for the important stuff

I don't get people who get emotional over TV shows or Movies. Superstore is an amazing show but I'd never cry over it, it's just a show.

The reveal of the stars on the ceiling in the bedroom at the end makes me SOB every time
That tornado sequence still is utterly PHENOMENAL. Truly remarkable... especially for a 30 minute comedy.
I have watched all 6 seasons so many times, and each time the scene after the tornado brings me to tears

Superstore had the best ending hands down, like no one wanted it to end but that was beautiful.

I thought it was kind of bad. It really undercut the series that happened before the ending, which made a point of demonstrating the struggles of big box store workers. The sappy/happy ending just seemed so misplaced. Really a letdown for this fan.
We need a compilation of Deena calling Justine out, eg "you're not an alcoholic Justine, stop trying to make yourself sound interesting,"

I thought "No I'm good" at 0:58 was the most heartwarming thing this show would ever do and then the very next scene basically reduced me to tears 1:10 when Jonah sees Amy's serious face immediately jumps into action it's beautiful
It’s also the first time Amy has her actual name on her badge t show she is willing to allow anyone to see she is walking out in solidarity
The walk out is a symbol that's beautiful
Omg yesss I re watched that scene a few times because the way she said “Jonah” and he immediately thought she was going to lecture him but then he saw the look on her face and immediately was like “what’s wrong” and stopped everything he was doing ❤❤❤
In Canada Cheyenne could get 17 weeks of E.I. Adoption too, both ways. Up to 35 weeks off if she was willing to take 55% per week. Some health circumstances make it longer. Of course, a well intentioned employer can make it even better.
@@m1t2a1 In Poland Cheyenne would get 1 year of maternity leave paid 80%. During her pregnancy if her doctor decided she is not fit to work she would spend her time to birth on sick leave (pregnant sick leave is paid 100%). Father could get 2 months of 80% paternal leave. But my guess this is the price of freedom
I love the blooper where garret gets up and walks out during the walk out lol
I would have kept that in the show, leave the implication that Garratt wasn't even wheelchair bound, he just hates standing. It would be kinda risky as a joke, but also totally on character for him
@@kristenungstad3252theirs one scene during the Olympics where Garret can’t reach the ball and I thought it would be hilarious to do it then. So nobody in the store saw but the audience would know.
Love the way Sandra sings to Jonah in order to comfort him "he's a superfreak, superfreak, he's super freakyyy~"
This show reminded me my previous job working for a grocery chain. I did not completely enjoy the work, but I loved the people I worked with. Just like Jonah said, they were there, doing their jobs, literally risking their lives in many instances.

The first clips of when they walk out, it’s the first time amy is wearing her actual name badge, to show she doesn’t care who sees her and wants ppl to know she’s walking out.
Garrett's final speech with the wraps up gets me EVERY DAMN TIME, i always start to tear up 😭

the best moment of the show by far is when Glenn sees all the employees walking out for him. Glenn receiving validation from his employees that they care about him just as much as he cares about them is rare and this is the first time in the show we see that. the look on his face is impeccable
Even the small, one-time roles in this show are incredible. The construction worker talking about finding Sal's body is just so wonderfully over the top with his explanation.
Glen praying to every god and religion is so funny to me
I hate how Garrett didn't say "Have a heavenly day" as the last line in that announcement but it was good to end off with him as he was the first voice we heard in the pilot. This is one of the best sitcoms where you can just sit down after a hard day's work and have it on everyday on your screen. It's an underrated show and I think people who loved 'The Office' would love this. Not only because Justin Spitzer made it but because workplace sitcoms are just funny to watch. The reason for the cancellation was sad to read, but I'm just gonna say that the fans are still here.

I work retail so I love how accurate it is with how ridiculous people are when their shopping…..plus I have an employee who is a male version of Dina…..it’s fuckin great whenever he opens his mouth because it’s usually some offensive Dina level stuff 😂
Occasionally, once in a great while, there comes a show so funny and perfect that when it ends, you legitimately feel sad & depressed because it's over and you'll never see a new episode again. For me, this was one of those shows. I loved everything about this show and there likely won't be anything like it again. The combination of Glenn, Dina, Garret (my fave), Jonah, Sandra, Justine, and the rest, was unbeatable.
One of the most under-rated shows ever. Amazing writing and cast.
I didn’t want the show to end. No laugh track to tell me a joke was funny, sad moments, legit an underrated show. What an ending though.
Every once in a while a show comes to you that really touches you. This is one of those shows.

This show is one of the most underrated shows of all time. Once or twice a year I always rewatch the show. I wish they would make a blu ray set.

America's "dude seriously?" face at 12:53 is one of the best parts of this show. Nobody turns their nose up like America Ferrera

8:19 I hear ya, Amy. Anybody who's worked retail dreads Black Friday....I ALWAYS worked ON THANKSGIVING to be able to take the next day off. I would also work Christmas Eve right up until closing at 7 pm to avoid working Dec 26th....the opposite of Black Friday (return nightmares)
Garetts final announcement and the Garden party scenes are just peak television.

That ending almost made me cry😢
The only problem I have with the ending is Carol being at the party. Why is the criminally insane lady that tried to kill, and when that failed, then tried to destroy the life of another employee? Makes no sense and unbelievable to no end.
My headcanon is that she found out about the party and invited herself and the others knew it would be much worse if they tried to kick her out so they just let her chill with them lmao

Hold on…. being not ready is ok now?😮 also that scene where he was talking abt marriage to Amy’s parents would have been really weird. (Edit: i definitely think Amy screwed Jonah over I mean I got where she was coming from but I was so team Jonah with their breakup I love this show sm btw ❤)
