We lost our beloved Leslie in 2022. And Rosario (Shelley) in 2019. Just not the same without them.

I always got the feeling from these scenes from these reboot seasons, that the “audience laughter responses” seemed…off(?). As in, maybe canned or heavily sweetened. Not because the performances or writing were inferior-but maybe due to newer sitcom-production dynamics by then, eg featuring monies-saving quicker camera shots, less scenes-blocking, less story due to more advertising time intrusion…all that. And I think it hurt and worked against the reboot and its ratings, unfortunately. 😢

Those scenes are from the Will and Grace reboot from 2017. That’s why there was a reference for immigrants getting in by marrying a president.
The scene was clearly from the revival episodes.
Love these two! But in retrospect hate how politics saturated every form of entertainment in their later era.
Yeah the point was it was supposed to be liberal folks who were pro gay marriage, not discussions of allowing people to come across the borders, and for Trump, Fox News, and Merica to be Karen’s focus. These two stories, early and late season, sure show how the show collapsed. I had stopped watching by then. What a shame.
