Lord Of The Dance - Feet Of Flames (Hyde Park London).avi

- 25 lipca 1998 Flatley stworzył kolejne show pt. Feet of Flames. Była to rozszerzona wersja Lord of the Dance. Brało w niej udział ponad 100 artystów, występujących na co dzień w trupach Lord of the Dance. Show zostało zaprezentowane przed 25-tysięczną publicznością zgromadzoną w londyńskim Hyde Parku.

25 years ago now but still remember it like it was yesterday!
I took my mother to see this as a last wish before she died. The finale always breaks my heart man. She loved it. God rest your soul mom. Forever xxxxx xxxx
She will be dancing with the Angels... God Bless.
HAAAAVVVEEE IIIIITTTTT HAAAAVVVEEE IIIIITTTTT ALLLL may she be reborn happy nd new in a better time 😁
😢
I'm sure you made your mom very happy !
God Bless !
Michael Flatley, still the fastest tapper in the world. Started at 28 taps per second, beat his own record to go on to 35 taps per second, then upped himself one more time to 41 taps per second. And yes, I mean per SECOND. He's the only one who ever broke his records, and his last record remains unbroken. He's even danced with one foot almost completely dismembered, that's what a dedicated dancer he was. I hope you are enjoying retirement, Michael, but oh! how we miss you! You are still loved by so many of us, even now in 2023, nearly 30 years after you exploded on the stage. You will always have a place in this Irish-American's heart!💖
Just saw Riverdance 25th Anniversary show in Australia and was so happily reminded of the Lord of the Danc 1:53:36 e I also saw here in Aus back in the day and marvelled then at Michael Flatley the phenomenal dancer. I’m so sad he is fighting what has been reported as an aggressive Cancer and wish him all strength to beat it.
Thank you Michael. ❤ 1:51:45
@@lesleyhetherington8060 oh, this is devastating news! C'mon, Michael! You can do it. Tell the Big C to take a long walk off a short pier!
thats just not possible....
@@Lisbeten1 actually, it is. Google it. I did.
This is one of the silliest comments I've ever read. He "danced with one foot almost completely dismembered." LMAO! Do you know what dismembered means? Also,James Devine holds the record as the fasted tap dancer in the wor;d, *not* Michael Flatley..
I grew um with this. Watched it a billion times as a kid and over 20 years later i still wanna dance infront of the TV whyle watching. Such a damn good childhoodmemory😍
the first time I watched this I was maybe 8 or 6 years old, it was the first time it was aired in Mexico, I remember watching this with my mom, on an old tv set and my mom trying to record this from t.v., I would not change this childhood memory for anything, it marked me forever.
My parents saw it live a few months after my birth in 96, bought the VHS at the venue and a few years later the DVD. I grew up watching it almost on repeat, it's probably my dearest childhood memory.
The best thing is that you can see all the joy on everyones faces!
True!
I had a super huge crush on the enemy guy when I was little 💜🖤
Kelsey Burns same!!!! hahaha
Daire Nolan is his name.
He's a fantastic dancer.
And the character's name is Don Dorcha, Lord of Darkness, if I'm not mistaken :D
I had a huuuuuge crush on him too :DD
me too. I was about 7 oder 8 years old, when I saw this for the first time. And now 21 years later, I'm feeling like I'm 8 again :)
oh my gosh me too 😂
20 years ago and still like yesterday! I think I wore out all of VHS copies of his shows. 💙
We finally cant see anything on our copy. Gonna see if they can put this one on the dvd
You read my mind. Been watching since inception 1996.
That show is nothing short of epic. The music, the staging, the dancing. The incredible choreography, the emotion it conveys. It’s mind blowing. I clap in awe at the talent on display.
It is truly amazing and for me this brings back some precious memmories.
archetypal AF
Couldnt agree more Mark. Michael Flately is very close to my heart. I watched his shows all the time with my Nan before she passed when I was 16. Now Im 30 and I still love this so much.

Absolutely brilliant! 2021 ❤❤
What shit lady???
I've watched this when I was a kid like 100000000 times :) and I wished I could be one of them ....
saaaaaaaaaaaaame
I spent one of the best nights of my life here with my wife, will never forget...
This show is absolutely amazing. I am fortunate to own it on DVD.
My mom had the original HD on DVD as well. Not sure where is it now though, but I think she's keeping it in some safe place :D
Absolutely. Because it's not available on UA-cam.
I have that video too. It is amazing 👏 😍
Keep that super safe.
Watch in 2023 and still enjoy 😍❤️
I'm so sad that I wasn't born early enough to go to one of the shows :( I always love watching it and I'm so glad I'm able to watch it, even if I'll never get a chance to see it live
I was lucky enough to see the newer version, "Lord of the Dance. Dangerous Games" when the group came to Poland last year. The stage was on fire... I loved it.
They're still touring. There's river dance that's currently on tour. Obviously different cast and stuff but still has the same effect
They still do it now it’s just lord of the dance! I’ve always loved it,, I learnt all of the dances from this film (the girl dances) and I saw lord of the dance live and it was amazing!
Shows have evolved over the years. I haven't seen Lord of the Dance live, but I've seen Riverdance live twice and they're currently touring. It's an amazing experience
Nothing is impossible!!!
OMG! I was actually there with my husband. It was outstanding, breathtaking. I was only 30. We have recently (6th sept) 16years later been to see "Dangerous games" @ London Palladium. Micheal will never be able to topple "Feet of flames" from the top, but "Dangerous games" can proudly sit behind in 2nd place. (i am now an old 46 ) I can honestly say I have witnessed the greatest dancer of all times. All the best for Micheal and his family. He is a genius
Thats amazing! My mother went and saw a show that featured elements from both lord of the dance and feet of flames live, and i WISH i coulda been there too
I was there too! It was phenomenal!
What an absolute privilege it must have been to have witnessed that.
It's 2023 and it always hits me on the heart... I love it so so much.
I was there... my boyfriend at the time was a piper (seen in the early start of the video). Went with my mum and dad after being a fan of michaels for years... literally one of the best days of my life!
That time was one of the best experiences of my life. My "Michael Moment" as we Flatheads used to call personal meetings with him. He introduced me to Daire Nolan, the bad guy in the show, Helen, the little 'sprite' and a few others.. autographs too. The owner of the Pub invited me to have dinner there the next day and watch the baseball game as my flight was that night. And the Baltimore Orioles were playing the Cleveland Indians. I will NEVER, ever forget that weekend.
MsTweetie wow you were so lucky at that time
This 1998 Hyde park performance still blows my mind 18years later... the 'lord of all lords" Michael flately, the wonderful Bernadette flynn and the beautiful temptress Gillian Norris were amazing and of course the lord of darkness Daire Nolan timeless and beautiful
Nyther1an And dont't forget the unforgetable Mairead Nesbbit.
Almostz 18 Years by now ^^

"Lord Of The Dance : The Untold Story"
I've watched this so many times over its not even funny. I was a little kid the first time I saw it and that's when my obsession with Irish dance all began.
Of All The Music In The World, Nothing Will Touch Your Heart & Soul More Than Riverdance & Feet Of Flames
Mad props to Daire Nolan. Dancing in a cape cannot be easy.
Happy St Patrick's Day. This is My favorite Celtic music. It is haunted enough for My discerning taste as Milk and Honey. Thank you for enjoying The Heart of Dance so much. David danced for Me in elation of The Glorified Presence.
It's 2022 and I'm still in love with them. Really amazing! 😍😍😍

On 47:16, that male chorus... perfection! I can't understand a word, but that sounds beautiful and creepy at the same time. Amazing!!

Atemberaubend
Absolut. Absolut genial
This video is half show, half standing ovations.
They deserve it, they are simply amazing.
I believe Michael Flatley is a very different soul, who is contributing so much to raising the energy of all. A great tribute to the theatre arts and their importance, actually, to the well-being and beauty of Earth and all of mankind.
This was a fabulous performance that allowed me to avoid the real world for a while and to simply celebrate the music, dancing and the joy it brings. Thanks for sharing!
I think that's called living not avoiding ❤
I was 8 or 9 when I watched it at my cousin’s home. Omg I was fell in love with this, now I’m 30 and still watch it ❤️
THE BEST show I`ve evere seen!
Blond solist girl is awesome!!!
One of the most badass dancers to ever dance this earth....
Awesome….Michael is an amazing dancer. How I love this and the music and how Flatley moves throughout the music, fantastic. I love cultural music, every culture all over the world has a unique place within their music, and conveys its hearts, feelings, and emotions, its very essence of who we are through music…. It’s a big part of everyones life around the world. Music is the heart beat of the world….so sad that war gets in the way of our true calling in life….. 👍❤️🙏🏼
It's 2023 and I am entranced by this performance. It is beyond spectacular! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

He is amazing and so are all the dancers. So much talent.
I've watched them hundred of times since their first time on a stage in '94 (yes, '94 at Eurovision contest in Dublin)! And can't stop today! Thousands of hours of hard work to get a dance show to perfection.
