I grew up in the 80s and 90s and at the time just thought Mike Tyson, Naseem Hamed, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank ... I just thought that's what boxing was. What a group of amazing fighters. What a generation to grow up in. Naseem is unforgettable, unrepeatable - he was amazing to watch.

If prince Naseem was still active, I'd rather pay to see his fights over mayweather any day, way more entertaining than mayweather. This guy is what the fans wanted back in the days. A shame he retired so early.

+Dotextreme He retired "so early" because of a battered ego.
Yes, Mayweather is no big KO artist, but the man has mad skills is a *WINNER* and widely considered one of the best fighters to have graced the planet by most - if not all - boxing pundits. Real boxing fans enjoy and appreciate his ringmanship, incredible defense, reflexes and speed.
How about you just stick to Rocky movies...:)

Dotextreme Your post is accurate and makes a lot of sense. A shame your opening sentence was so needlessly crude and immature.
Naseem was indeed an exciting fighter, but very over rated, but this did not stop me from enjoying his fights back in the day - the man could put on a show, and perhaps boxing could make more of a comeback and compete with MMA if we had more characters like Naseem now. However, the first time he stepped up in class, we all know what happened...
"Stick to rocky movies lol, you probably weren't even born at the time. I've been into boxing longer than you've been alive", say you.
      1. Please stop stealing my material.
      2. I rather like Rocky movies (at least the first 3), but take them at face value/what they are - cornball entertainement.
      3. How old are you?
      4. Please stop being so sensitive, testy and punchy.

+boss Bumm Really, lil' guy? A single type-o. Sue me, my boy.
How about you learn to use periods, commas, and start a sentence with an upper case letter. Oh. It's spelled 'don't' btw.
You're punching above your weight, son. But that's ok - more *LOLZ* for me and yet more failure for you:) I hope you get a new pair of socks and some deodorant for your 13th birthday.

Barrera took what from Nas exactly? lol.
Nas only lost ONE fight fgs!! lol.
He retired because his hands were small and just couldn't take the power he generated. He fucked them up over the years.
You ask ANY lightweight boxer that hits as hard as Nas did and how much hand trouble they had as a result.
Smaller guys hands have always struggled to handle big power. It isn't rocket science.

LOL, you're crazier than Naseem. Mayweather was 24-0 and had defended his belts 4 or 5 times at least by the end of 2000. Naseem retired a fight after Barrera exposed him as a B-grade fighter at best and the only fight left for him stateside was Mayweather or Barrera or Morales. Dude was like the SixNine of 90s boxing with less colorful hair and a British accent.
