since the weather is getting hot, let us make sure not to point out someone's:
-scars

-loose skin
-tummy rolls
-stretch marks
-self harm scars
-dark underarms/inner thighs
-hijabs (asking "isn't it hot wearing that?")
-acne
-eczema
-vitiligo/other skin conditions (people may just not understand them)
-how much weight someone's gained
-how much wight someone's lost
If it's not something they can fix in five minutes (smudged makeup, food in teeth, messy hair) than don't point it out. It's rude and non of your business...
🙌
Thank you 👍
Can we make this year round, not just hot weather, please? AK Native here & it rarely breaks past 50°F where I live.
I loved the last note
Omg abt hijab it’s just rlly a cloth n fabric for summer can be breathable like cotton just protects your head from the sun same way as you wear a hat
The pronunciation to Indian ingredient names is just so on point. Kudos to Cassandra ❣
I love how you raise awareness about cruelty free options 🙌 a rabbit shouldn't have harmful chemicals poured into its eyes for a product, especially when theres so many cruelty free options available
These cruelty free options need to stop with the clean beauty and all of their essential oils.
Theres soo many cruelty free, science based brands
@@pattycarljackson cruelty free just means the harmful chemicals werent tested on rabbits eyes, it doesn't have anything to do with the product having essential oils or not
@@theecologist10 what? You clearly didn’t understand what I said. I didn’t say cruelty free had anything to do with essential oils. I said these cruelty free brands need to stop with the clean beauty marketing and adding essential oils.
@@pattycarljackson I know, and there's lots that don't, and so many non cruelty free brands Do have essential oils
I feel bad every time she shades ceravee is literal the only “cheap” good product I can buy in my country is worth twice the cost vs the USA so if you pay 15 usd for something I am paying 30 usd for the same thing . Anyway, I love the ceravee products because they are not so overpriced as murad or the other skincare brands they sell here and I feel they do the job
Right! I don't think people always realize that prices may vary and that some products aren't available for everyone. I love the Moisturizing cream for my dry and eczema prone skin but I also pay the same price (about $20) for a container that has 110 grams less cream than the one in the description box.
Majority of products mentioned are not in UK. Mail order adds a huge tax/import/delivery costs.
You do what works best for you. Who knows, one day you may create a local affordable brand for your community 💕x
Same here in Norway! I can't get my hands on most product, the few I can get my hands on are so fricking expensive due to taxes/import and delivery cost. So I get kind of angry when an influencer thrash these few options I have...because I don't have a much of a choice here. I don't have hundreds of brands available, I have less than half. I do my best with the few overpriced options I have.
yeah… i live in brazil and the whenever there’s a sale i buy the cerave cream for R$50 (for the amount its cheap)
it’s one of the few things my oily-combo skin doesn’t react and i love the texture
If it works for you and you like it, please do not feel bad!!
I think she's trying to swing the pendulum from people only know or talk about Cerave when it's not the only option or even a good option for some people. But I think the majority of her regular viewers get it at this point and it's swinging towards "shaming" a product/brand.
CeraVe and Cetaphil were my doorways to skincare in my teens and early 20s. I absolutely love that CeraVe has actives that I can pick up at pretty much any big box store no matter where I'm traveling. The availability of a consistent, affordable and decent product with more than one option is so necessary.
Your brief description of Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs separating is so literal and accurate of how it happened! I wish more people knew!
It was awful! Half of my family (we are Sikhs) who fled from Pakistan to India were killed trying to escape to safety.
@@marshavilkas3512 I'm so sorry but who k1lled them
@@ananyaverma1957 It was a group of Muslim radicals who were going across villages near Lahore demanding people to convert or get out. It was such a scary time, especially because many Hindus and Sikhs that lived in my grandfather's village who were either killed or horribly attacked and brutalized. Women got the worst of it.
@@marshavilkas3512 I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so heartbreaking that nobody talks about these things
@@marshavilkas3512 women always get the worst of it whenever and wherever musilms are concerned. Especially non muslim women
You made me love you more by all the things you know about India..... Honestly i have never been obsessed to watch anyone's video except for you. ❤️
Ain't this just simping material 😂💜❤️
And the way she pronounced the actress's name being non- Indian>>>>>
I'm Anglo-Indian as I mentioned before. I practice ayurvedaic beauty routine. I have no wrinkles at 60. I can not stress enough, use sunscreen!
I do facial yoga exercises. I give myself a homemade yogurt facial every day. I use metronidazole 0.75 every day for my rosacea.
I still have threading done on most of my body hair, because I choose not to have a hairless body, so I leave my arms and legs with fine hair. Totally remove my mustache, and unibrow and shape my brows with threading. I have PCOS, menopause does not get rid of it, and a lot of body hair is a symptom of it.
I have stretch marks on my belly after giving birth to my daughter 12 years ago and I don't care, I still wear a bikini. I'm disabled with osteoarthritis and use a rollator-walker and I still dress sexy. I don't see why as a sexagenarian and disabled I can't be sexy.
But really, Cassandra.. Don’t twist your knickers 😄 it’s only a little eye cream 💁🏻♀️I love Benton’s eye creams myself. We’re quite many who get milia and pustules (or whatever they are called: small balls of fat) underneath our eyes if we use too occlusive creams underneath our eyes. I even have tried snail (which I never thought I would!) under my eyes - and that actually worked. I’ve also put retinal under my eyes - which everyone says is a big no-no - and it have done wonders for me.
We’re all different 🤷🏻♀️
And it’s not like she’s putting LaMer under her eyes - but even if she did, it’s her skincare routine! She does what makes her happy! We shouldn’t judge.
We’re many who actually benefit from eye creams, believe it or not. It took me months to get rid of my milia and I’m not going to go back to having those again. Benton eye creams are fairly affordable and they come in tubes that are 1 fl Oz or 30 ml. I’ve used those it for my whole face at times. My favourite is their Fermented that has galactomyces (a yeast that comes from saké). I’d recommend it it a heartbeat!
Yes I get one milia under my left eye if I dont use All About Eyes by Clinique under my eyes. I've tried just using my moisturizer or other eye creams and it always comes back. When I go back to that clinique eye cream its gone in a few days 🤷♀️
Rosemary, your comment is an A+
Thank you for this!! Yeah face cream under my eyes is a huge no for me! I have to use eye cream. I have textured under eyes and face creams tend to be too heavy under my eyes and make the texture worse. Not only that but my eye area and eyes are EXTREMELY sensitive. The lilyana naturals eye cream has worked wonders for me!
retinol is not bad for your under eyes but it needs to be a gentle formulation. i use the FAB under eye retinol cream and my under eyes are extremely sensitive but with this they're not. i don't break out, my eyes don't water or itch, and when used consistently especially with under eye sun protection it works well.
I know skincare UA-cam wants to keep preaching that eye cream is stupid, but my really dry skin really needs it, and I definitely notice a difference when I don’t use it. The COSRX snail peptide eye cream is so so good and lasts forever.
As much as I roll my eyes at eyecreams, as someone who is milia prone, I definitely understand why it is needed. Heck, I get stuff happening just from applying Cerave cream so I have to be careful.
Too funny with the eyelash xD love you Cassandra
Charithra seems so charming. Not to mention gorgeous too
I'm so here for her doing more POC routine reactions 👏🏽👏🏽
I love that you know about the partition of India and how all of us were affected by it. It's so awesome that you know about my people the Sikhs, because in reality India was not divided, Punjab and Bengal were. My family had to re-locate from Pakistan to India to escape a Muslim-dominant regime and in the process, many of them were killed by radical extremists for being the wrong religion:(
Sikhs were also killed by hindus in large amounts after indra gandhi murder and muslims were actually the ones who protected them.
The only thing I would say about eye cream is this-our skin is all soooo different. And for some folks it might be an important step. I have lupus and a bunch of other autoimmune diseases. Specific eye creams help so much with my rashes and dryness
This. She can never look past her bias towards certain products and practices that are necessary for some people
@@violetedwards7487 I understand that she’s frustrated by the ridiculous pricing. So many brands charge much more than they should. But I can’t be without eye cream. Certain formulas really do make a difference
@@MaltinOnMovies yeah, I totally get the frustration about pricing, it is rage-inducing. I totally agree that certain formulas make a difference! I used my regular moisturiser on my undereye area and got milia there so... Moisturiser is not always a substitute for eyecream and she should address that.
I just love your videos. You actually use facts and science. So refreshing!
Thank you!! ❤️
Lmao I died when she brought out the eye cream after having a full on moment about how she wasn't using one 😂
You're just the best at this!!!! I'm entertained and educated every single time! Keep shining
I love how she has a simple and not overpriced routine! Her skin is beautiful! 😍🙌🏻
she isn't really a celebrity so its not surprising her skincare is cheap. Bridgeton is her first proper productions she's been in
I love how you incorporate a little of her cultural background!💜
I'm so jealous that Cassandra got this coffeemaschine/ alarm clock! You must have amazing friends!
Love how simple her routine is.
I wish you had taught my chemistry and organic chemistry classes. You have a gift for teaching. Edit: I think I have those exact same reusable pads for toner (how often do you wash them? I've been using a bar of soap daily and then makeup remover soap every few days).
I wash my reusable pads and my skincare towels every week.
Like, every day I have a clean one.
That’s the rule of thumb.
@@rosemary5005 thank you!!
I use one, wash it immediately with some hand soap, let it dry, use it the next day
@@ItsBlackSheepVision thank you!
gosh girl i love your vibe! adhd + pestizides is just an amazing type of human. you are the perfect blend of science and fun. i just finally started taking better care of my skin and bought like 12 sunscreens to try. much love from europe!
I love how much Cassandra loves india and it's so heartwarming to see that since I'm so used to people talking about india just for clout and views
She's so pretty. Her skin looks great. I never tried under eye patches but I'll look into them.
I adore you make up today and I love purple on you! I love listening to you give out amazing actual information rather than just opinions. I look forward to watching you early early mornings in the U.K. 🥰
Can't wait for the hair removal video! I really like the Flawless tool
All natural skincare followed traditionally in India was literally mixing a few ingredients found in ones kitchen....the most common face mask is a paste of turmeric powder, gram flour, milk or yogurt
Talking about things like sleep apnea and mobility and how those things fit in to a skincare routine is pretty cool...and necessary
I finally understand what antioxidant means!!!! Thank you, you're amazing!
Thank you Casandra for talking about India. Makes me so happy. You obviously have a lot of knowledge
The shots of the lifting lash and *H O T* I can't 😂😂 you're the best
"Your flaws can be your features" wow loved the way she put it and it makes sense. I have dark circles and when i cover them completely with makeup i kinda don't recognise myself, since i do not weark make up daily nor cover my DC most of the time.
Totally agree with you on this girl, I too used to go to great lengths to cover up dark circles only to look like something else. Now I only use a little salmon tint product to tone it down by 1 shade and leave it there and man it looks so much better than earlier full coverage.
I love the isntree eye cream, and the time stop peptide eye cream, and the klair's eye butter. I just love the texture of these, so much different than a face moisturizer. Eye creams don't suck. They're awesome. So there. Lol.
Hi☺️ I’d really love to see your updated morning and nighttime skincare routine🥰 thank you, love you❣️
I have been binge watching all of your celebrity skin care reaction videos and I feel overwhelmed as I only use a cleanser for makeup and a Tatcha face moisturizer, no serums whatsoever. But I've never had a breakout in years or wrinkles so I guess there's that LOL! You did have me looking into eye creams though, returning that Drunk Elephant one I just bought from Sephora!
return it and buy a sunscreen
I love your Indian history and culture knowledge and the way you pronounce Hindi words. Amazing 👍🏻💖
Cassandra omg I love the premiere so good
New series: Cassandra & Coffee lol this is so enjoyable and fun to watch
I've been watching her videos for a while now, and I'm here to learn so I'll keep watching. But I get so distracted by her exaggerated reactions to literally everything! Whether it's a good thing someone's doing or a bad thing (for her, such as eye creams), she'll immediately overreact making faces, tongues out etc... Ugh. It's probably just me tho🥲
Nope. Not just you. I sometimes have to ff 5 seconds at a time through some super exaggerated reactions. It can get kinda cringe 😢
@@mehtadevanshi Oh see! I agree🤷🏻♀️
yeah I couldnt get thru this whole video honestly. its just too much
@@breezystl777 Right? It happens in every single video, in some more than others... For example the Shay Mitchell routine's video. Ugh😑
@@gladydea Agreed. I love her skincare and acne advice, but these reaction videos are cringey😬
the lifted lash has been driving me insane through out this enitre video but i love your videos especially the one where you review celebrity routines
hey she specializes in skincare not makeup lol 😂

She tried to pronounce Charithra's name more accurately than Charithra herself.
Love these reviews Cass! And the lovely Catterpillar at the end!
Love Tia 💘
That makeup! I'm living for this look on you 😍 Now let me hush and watch this new video ✨️
Omg did you just say you’re sasti 😂😂 I LOVE IT!!! (For context, sasta literally means budget, and in other contexts is used in place of “cheap” ie making the best use of a buck)
So glad Cassandra knows so much about India and is fascinated by it❤️❤️🥺🦋
Charitra has such a cute, fun and likeable personality and being a fellow Indian I think she's doing so much to represent our culture in the best way possible without rubbing our culture too much on everyone
Aveno Skin Relief moisturizer works really well as an eye cream actually. Soooo soothing and hydrating and it didn't trigger my milia prone skin.
I love that too
Oh cassandra you made me smile with your beautiful information about indian culture...
PLEASE I need a live watch of Bridgerton with you!? You mentioned it last time and I haven’t forgotten… I need your takes in all the regency beauty hehe.
Ah!!! Cassandra!!! YÂSS!!!
I love how you use your makeup to express yourself!!!
Oh I been so guilty, I been liking a lot of YTTP Stuff… like I been re stocking and I desired to try some new stuff and old stuff… so good. I really really want to try that toner.
I been so good with using up my skin care.
Oh!! And yes!! Purple is your color! I love purple, maybe I’m a little bias but such a good color. :)
Your eyeshadow look is on point! It looks great
Some By Mi also has a great AHA-BHA-PHA line, it does wonders!
Excellent Hindi pronunciations! And thanks for explaining India so well in a nut shell. 👌🏽
I would really love a video of milk dots or milia in adults. I've been experiencing it for the first time as someone in my early 20s and my doctor told me they'll go away on their own with gentle exfoliation. I'd love a more indepth video explaining what it is and what treatments can be done at home.
Mine went away on their own, but I remember how once I popped one myself and it hurt like hell 🥲
"I'm a little sasti as well"😂😂😂😂😂 you're too cute. Also, i love how Cassandra's pronunciation of Charitra's name was more accurate than Charitra's pronunciation itself.
Pacifica's vegan ceramide line is my fav! The cleanser and the moisturizer are so good. My skin is dry and I honestly have a hard time finding affordable moisturizer that does right by me but this one is so good. And I like their packaging.
Also, love your videos. You’ve taught me so much 🥰
I love your videos and find them so informative, but girl, today I can't help but get distracted by that rogue eyelash lol 💛
Wowww... It's amazing how u know soo much about India n also used some of the terms... I have always loved ur videos for the scientific explanatios n u just made me love u more ❤️ love from India .. n yes we do prefer a lot of natural remedies as per ayurveda n have been practicing it for centuries now n has worked wonders ... But u are amazing n love this video .. please make a video on some Indian brands like "the tribe concepts" , "Just Herbs" , "Sugandha" etc
I have to say, I always love watching your videos because of all the knowledge you have that you share in them. Because of this, could you please do a video about Image Skincare brand??? I have been using them for over a year and would love to see your opinions on them!
Really valuable this post! Everybody has there is a lot to take
Omg u know so many things about india. Thanks Cassandra
I love it the way you talk about India. I hope people understand how rich and beautiful Indian culture is. Thanks Cassandra
Thanks for mentioning sleep apnea. I have sleep apnea, so I use a satin pillowcase, so I can sleep on my side.
You look so pretty Cassandra!!
I LOVE THIS VIDEO THE HINDI OMG EXCELLENT PRONOUNCIATION and so relatable love this gori
4:10 I just love her. edit: made my morning
I’ve been there watching you hatin on eye creams, and I agree that most eye creams do nothing special, but then I got a Cold Plasma from Perricone MD and I hate to admit it but it’s actually good stuff 😫
In another video, she actually brings up that line specifically. The neck cream & eye cream she says are actually worth it & are among the specialty creams she doesn't hate. Yay.
I just now realized how much you remind me of Lorelai Gilmore
This made my morning thank you . As I am drinking my coffee :)
Yessssssss threading my mum taught how to thread my eyebrows when I younger. My mum’s mum (nana) was Anglo-Indian and taught my mum how to thread her eyebrows and then my mum taught me
I love how your reaction videos are so descriptive and informative, you break down everything and explain wow! I am from India and yes India has lot of natural beauty hacks, like mixing just besan (Chickpea flour), haldi (turmeric) and milk and using it as a cleanser and moisturizer.
Does the besan, haldi and milk mixture help with hyperpigmentation?
Would love to know the brand of cacao you use for the smoothie. Looks good!
I like that you put effort to say her name true to its accurate pronunciation
Love your CoffEnergy and Sass in this video.
There is a brush/accessory cleanser called 'cinema secrets', (you'll need to check ingredients for your ethics), I'm going to get some when UK supplier has it back in stock- it should clean all your cotton replacement pads/ etc
🌻
Can we talk about how good you look period Cassandra!!
Hi Cassandra, I love your videos! And I would love a video on how to layer masks! I've been using the ordinary aha peel, a clay mask and then a vitamin mask once a week. And I'm wondering if I'm not slowly destroying my skin? :D or maybe they are canceling each other out and I'm waiting my munny? 😅
Cassandra, would you please talk about spf setting sprays or products to use with spf over makeup that won't disturb it?? I love to sit outside on work lunch breaks but am not wanting to slather spf on top of my makeup in the middle of the day. HELP
I was never a fan of eye cream until recently, when my eye area became a bit more dry. The moisturizer i use on my combo skin face doesnt give my under eye area the amount of hidration it needs, so i have another face cream (as they work just fine for the under eye) for dry skin that i apply only there. Really needed it!
i have to saaayyy.. I love your make up here!!! So pretty!!! 🦋💖
I love that your cousin gifted you the coffee alarm clock. Very cool!
Wow you look stunning, amazing video as per usual! Im a desperate subscriber butterfly that is looking for your review/opinion/knowledge on copper peptides ( the ordinary one, or general) ! Do you recommend any eye patches to sleep in? Ive heard some people do this with dry ones. I keep sleeping on my side with my hand under my face and Im worried I get wrinkles 🙁
You look beautiful as usual Cassandra but I'm not sure about those lashes on you. You should try ardell whispies.

OMG you know so much about India and Indian culture. And you the hindi names of the spices and fruits. Wooohoooo. You are genius
Omg ! I love love love your channel .. 🙋🏻♂️❤️❤️❤️
I often find myself hating on UA-camrs that exaggerating their actions like you did in the intro, often, because they overdid it and delayed the video, making me spend 30 seconds watching them making silly overreacted facial expression.
But you did it with such good balance, not too much, funny and humour mixed in and succesfully pull audience clicking the video wondering 'Why did she react like that?'
I love it!!
Hé Cassandra, could you tell about the Nivea classic in the bleu tan 🙏. I mean, love this cream and this my top to too care. Thoghter with almond oil. I use almond oil also as cleanser. I mix Nivea and almond oil and it works fine for me.😉
That eyelash holding on for dear life 😂
Ayurveda is not solely about haldi powder.. And its not the yellow haldi we are using for skin care... There are a lot of products like manjishta akhila choornam... So goes.. We can't even pronunce or remember their names..... Its not about diy kitchen hacks.. Ayurveda is different... And it is effective as well.
Try using either the WOW stick stain remover by Nellie's (It's natural, and works for my cotton rounds) or maybe baking soda?
I love that youth to the people cleaner it so amazing 😭❤️ just wish they made refills for the glass bottles instead having to Repurchase another glass bottle . Also I wasn't aware of the eye cream dilemma lol I've always used the ole Hendrickson banana bright eye cream and I swear it brightens and hydrates my under. eyes so well . but now im confused lol 😆 im new here so im trying to catch up on the videos since watching the horrible cayne Winnie Harlow burning eyes skincare lol
I use cer ve. Never break out and I feel very clean after. Surprised you have commented about their products that way.
Unfortunately every time I've used cerave it breaks me out entirely, idk why since everyone reccomended it so highly:(
Same. Their moisturizing lotion is the only moisturizer that suits my acne skin. It never stings or breaks me out.
I've tried all sorts of moisturizing creams, and I always go back to the Cerave Tub. It helps my sensitive psoriasis skin around my eyes, but I understand it may work for most but not all (like most skincare).
None of them work for me and I either break out or they just aren't effective.
can you talk about the brand Cosmedix? I recently got their acne products, and I'm interested to hear what you think of them!
