I somehow feel the urge to speak up for outfit number five, the "corporate" one. You look absolutely stunning in this colour scheme, and I absolutely love the matchy accessories paired with the fun flowery top.
I understand that the purple and red outfit was too corporate and 3 matching accessories is too much for most people. I think that a pair of colorful sneakers would be the easiest fix to the outfit as the shoes and trousers together were quite office wear. I would love to see a comparison of what Rae would add to your wardrobe versus what would be on your wishlist, or items you think are missing. Or pick 4 pieces and show us how you'd style them vs her styles. Or you could do a comparison to a new stylist and Rae.
I watched this video because I am interested in the Indyx styling service. I think Rae did a great job of styling the many bright, colorful pieces in your wardrobe in creative and flattering looks. I did love the looks you weren't so thrilled about. The purple and tan with red accents, and the lilac cardi with the dark t -shirt (ties in with your hair color) and the print skirt.
I agree, I love the purple and red outfit I thought it was perfect.. I'm thinking she didn't feel like herself in it so was uncomfortable. But it looked great
My favorite outfit was, for sure, the purple and red one. I would never do purple and red together being such a neutral and classic kind of girl but that outfit was amaizing. Love the series so far!
I must be an old lady, I love your purple corporate look. Purple is a fab colour for you, also the tonal blues. Merry Christmas from cold grey England.

Really loving this series, Katey! Our styles are about as opposite as can be, but that doesn’t stop me from getting joy from your vibrant, artistic, colorful outfits. Katey, that pink dress is STUNNING! Also I don't know if you have heard that before, but you have the most beautiful, calming voice. I could honestly listen to you talk for hours! I really enjoyed this. There are some super fun outfits here. As someone who grew up mostly in Sydney with a very corporate mum, it's definitely interesting the contrast in formality across the country. I can see why you'd call the "purple" outfit corporate, to me it's smart casual 😂 but it's definitely QLD corporate. I need to work out what to do with my top half during these beastly summers we have here and going through perimenopause with all the horrendous hot flushes. I have recently gotten some really gorgeous palazzos, I boil alive in tshirts, I'm trying to work out what will suit me. I do adore the pink dress, the shirring on the bodice really flatters you and the sleeves are so fun! I think the outfit with the outrageous pants is probably my favourite.
I just followed but I’ve been creeping on your videos for weeks now! At the end of your video today (watching on the tv) when you said “bye” my 16month old said “bye bye” and blew you a kiss lol
Also, these videos are so fun, I have been enjoying this theme. I think it could be fun to have your stylist pick outfits for specific occasions (but if you aren’t having any special occasions then it may not be worth the money) OR pick some of your least worn items to have them style.
@@KateyOneMoreTime completely understandable. I also rarely have anything going on that requires out-of-the-ordinary outfits lol!! But I remember you getting some clarity on items in the previous videos once you were styled so that could be fun! Loving all of your videos regardless!!
My favourite outfit was the purple and red one. It really suits your colouring. As you say, dressed up looks different for different people. To me it was a very casual outfit that looked put-together. Maybe it’s that aspect you didn’t like, the polished aspect? Please continue with these videos next year, your authenticity is refreshing and your style thoughts really helpful. Best wishes
Oh I saw a hack the other day another plus size girlie just cut up a few inches of the seam on the side of the T-shirt to make it look more loose. Maybe you can try that if you want to.
Olly in lots of your footage was awesome. She's a gorgeous pup. As for your outfits, I think the monochromatic blue one was my fav. I'm very much a monochromatic girl and I like to play with tones, shades, and textures. Surprisingly, I know you didn't like it that much, but they purple outfit with the red accessories I really liked probably for the same reason you didn't like it. It looked very polished but still fun because of the flower print on the shirt.
I personally loved the purple and green outfit with the red accessories 😊 I’d be interested to see you try a different stylist and also for a stylist to recommend what items you could add to your wardrobe
I loved the purple shirts together with those pants, I hope you give that a go with different accessories and see if it hits different. I feel like the purples felt really rich together. The light pink top with the rainbow pants surprised me, I didn't expect to like the outfit without the blue one over top.
I am also plus sized and love bright colors and pattern mixing, so your content has been so inspiring to me. Thank you so much for sharing!! I think outfit 2 just had too much black for me? Then the skirt didn't have enough color or pattern to combat all the black. The first thing I thought to do was put some colorful socks on with those chunky black shoes (such cool shoes!) then maybe switch the skirt to the purple circles. I also really liked the monochromatic blue outfit, which is outside of my comfort zone too. Normally I would want to add more colors, but the blue is really strong and popping on its own and the tones were all so perfect together. I think it really works! That pink dress is great and the sleeves are the best part, but I also struggle with layering cool sleeves. Like what kind of jacket will be comfortable?? I never know. Also, I think what throws off the formality of the purple outfit may be the tan pants. I think green pants will tone down all the red. Plus maybe switch out the bag for a more casual one, like your green back pack. The last outfit I like a lot, but I think I would trade the white shoes for the pink and orange Barbie shoes. That will tie the hat in nicely and keep that color combo when the hat comes off too. Thank you, I love these videos! 💚
I loved the blue and the purple/red outfits. If the red coordination felt like too much, you could probably use some white or beige accents instead, becasue those two colors are also in the outfit? ❤
It is SO interesting (and lovely) watching your videos… hearing you say that you would have never paired the striped blue/jewel toned shirt with the blue pants and having to “ see if it looked cohesive” … I was like OF COURSE it goes together! But there are several things that you pair together that I would never think of- like orange as a neutral 🤯. Now I have to try it . I enjoy watching your videos even though we’re so different. I’m a L&Y lover as well and I love getting inspo for those items. Once I wear it one way I tend to repeat the outfit over and over lol. Keep them coming!! And I LOVED the purple/ red corporate girly outfit on you.❤
I love these videos and yay for more Ollie! I love all of these outfits, except the one with the red and white striped skirt. And I'd like that one too if you ditched the jacket -- that jacket needs to be the star of her own outfit -- maybe just her and a plain black dress. She "can't hang around with all the lesser clothing because I am magnificent." (See, she's already sentient, and conceited!) Also, I'd suggest switching out the tennis shoes for flats if you're wearing skirts. Tennies are often so giant and clunky, they can overtake the bottom half of your outfit. Last thing: the purple outfit with red accessories -- you slayed that thing!! It's adorable on you, but definitely pare it down to where it's comfortable for you. It's so cute! They are all so cute, and you have a really good attitude about trying stuff you'd usually never try. Merry Christmas!
ive been actively using indyx since march and have been so curious what the styling services are like! this series is great and i love your honesty and personality so much. im from tassie so its nice to see reviews from another aussie. to me using indyx is all about making the most out of your wardrobe so i think it would be cool to see rae style your least worn pieces. ps my favourtie was definitely the pink and new funky pants!
I loved the outfit with the purple combo that you said looked corporate. I also think maybe Australia has a different connotation with corporate, because that isn’t how I would have described it.
I really like the purple and red outfit, but I also wouldn't wear it. And I think we have a similar casual style. I think some of your purses are quite corporate. Probably bc of how structured some of them are. I also feel like flats are corporate by nature. Same with thin belts. So when she pairs them all together it gives that vibe.
make a "how my own outfits changed after 4(?) month of suggestions" video or show us your two weekly favorites and also show us how your wardrobe changed thoughthis time period: what's new, what had to leave. I wanna know what Raes input did for you besides her direct outfit suggestions. Also, which suggestions did you wear again, with or without changes?
within the app, maybe something about less worn items: last chance styles before an item leaves, dress down for a very formal piece, the blue and yellow jacket in an outfit you really enjoy. If Rae would be willing to be interviewed and talk about styling you, that would be amazing, too.
This series is really fun to watch. I love your colourful and bold style, and I look forward to seeing your outfit combinations. I also enjoy learning about what's going on in other parts of the world (I live in Canada). It's interesting to learn about fashion from different perspectives. And you also rekindled my interest in reading books too which has been great. Unfortunately, I also thought that outfit #2 with the striped skirt was a miss. I agree with you; on the app, the outfit looks harmonious but it just looks "off" in living colour. I cannot explain why. Everything else gave me major dopamine hits which I appreciate because I am going through a very gloomy winter. You look so good in technicolour! As for switching things up with the stylist 1. How about playing a game? If the items are numbered in the app, then choose at least one number and ask Rae to create outfits based on that random number. 2. Try Daria Andronescu's "art meets style" series where she creates outfits based on visual art. Mili Velikova also tried this on her channel too. You enthusiasm and joy for this process is contagious! 😊
@@millymarmalade7537 thanks so much for your thoughts! I love the ‘art meets style’ concept - I kinda did something similar a few weeks ago dressing like my book covers which was so much fun! I think I might have to do that again!
Our perspective on how we look at ourselves is really quite interesting isn't it? I couldn't believe your reaction to #5. Well, I believed it because there it was, but it was so different to my reaction... I think that's the best outfit we've seen you wear!! I even gasped- a good gasp. OTOH I thought #2 was terrible, and don't think it would have suited anyone, but it was just the jacket really, and how it was with the skirt, you looked great with the skirt / T shirt combo. And the all blue really suited you too, so funny you wouldn't have gone there yourself. Olly is the cutest dog ever (shhh don't tell my dog). I seem to have slipped off your patreon list, I think that happened when my card got breached recently. Patreon is doing weird things and has split my subscriptions. I'll try and sort it.
First video of yours I’ve seen and I love your style! I wonder for the second look if you’d like it better with one side of the jacket tucked in at the front to add a bit more dimension and asymmetry? Hard to say without trying and styling is so personal! 💕 I love the jacket from your grandma 🥹 and the texture of the blue pants. I think the second to last look with those colorful pants is my favorite though! 🫶
The purple and red outfit is a little too “Red Hat Society” for me (apologies in advance if you look it up)… I do really like the flower top though! 🌼 The first outfit with orange pants is fab… and that pink dress is beautiful! Another successful month, indeed. ❤🎉 I’m starting into my 3rd month with The Feed… I was with Aimee Rancer first and I’m now with Kimara Mitchell. Aimee was really communicative and helped style some more challenging pieces. Kim is a rock star at suggesting new additions. I’m not sure either of them believes that the app contains everything in my closet… maybe because it’s a smaller wardrobe than most? (116 items including swim, accessories, etc.) “If you have something like….” “I don’t!” 😅
Thank you for sharing your wardrobe with us. I live in a very rural small town. There are no clothing stores here you have to buy them online or drive two hours away. I have shared I seen an outfits formality differently than you. When I do that I am not making you wrong or arguing. I am just sharing my perspective.❤ My favorites were the blue #3 one & purple#5. I think a different pair of shoes on 5 would move it to a more comfortable vibe. It seems like a fun outfit to go meet girlfriends for coffee or going to lunch. I hear you that that three red items are a little too matchy I’d swap one out. I did really like number 1, 3*, 4, 5*, 6, 7, and 8. Lots of cute and fun pairings. A couple of the outfits that weren’t your favorites I thought a different shoe or accessory would make it a go for you. Thank you for telling us that the puffy sleeves of the dress didn’t really work with number #4 jacket because I thought it looked great, but I had no idea that it was uncomfortable.
@@sapphirehands7780 omg your comments were totally fine!! I had a couple of very rude ones (also made weird comments about my body) that I blocked and deleted. ❤️❤️❤️
The purple outfit looked smashing on you, but I understand if you felt too dressy in it. I would suggest keeping the top and pants together and switching out the rest with things that down play the corporate feeling for you, regardless of color. Like a straw or slouchy bag instead. The red bag elevates too much perhaps. A belt in this outfit gives you nice proportions, I would keep the red, but also try different color, and more casual looking ones, again woven straw maybe? Same goes for the shoes. Love them here, but a more casual shoe would harness the corporate feel in too.
red & purple, I wonder if it was the neckline of the tshirt with the overshirt. too bad the sleeves of the pink dress don't feel comfortable under the jacket, because the colours are so fun. and you have some really great runners.
hmmm I love this series, it has me thinking about my wardrobe in a different way.... I haven't done anything about it yet, but that is not the point. 😅 Ollie is a star. As for favourites??? The outfits that you become excited about. 😊 the stripy t shirt with the blue trousers and tan shoes, you were so happy with it!! although I thought was the same level of corporate adjacent as the tan trouser and purple flowered top and beautiful red shoes (the bag made it too frou) I was confused, but it is you who is wearing your clothes and you need to enjoy it. life is way too short otherwise. I love the dresses, both with and without the jackets/over shirts. your favourite skirt, I prefered without the at home cardi, not the colour but how it drapes. but you rocked the outfits. as for going forward, do you feel confident in putting together an outfit using items you rarely wear?? like the first one wasn't a success with the stripey skirt and multi colour but mainly green coat.... however it shook things up. would you do that? enjoy your day, you too Ollie! 🎉🎉
Like others, I’m really enjoying this content. I totally understand that you want to shift things around, but I’ll be sad if you discontinue. Now, two outfit thoughts. (1) The “too smart” outfit. I actually loved this outfit on you, and I love the belt and the shoes. But I’m absolutely with you about the red bag being a step too far into try-hard town. I’m wondering whether a different bag, like a backpack or tote, in a different colour might be a big help. Or perhaps keep only the belt, and change both the bag and the shoes. I really felt that the belt as the transition between that top and those trousers was glorious. And that thought takes me to point (2) outfit transition zones! These make or break an outfit, imho. I think non-optimal transition zones were the problem with your least favorite outfit. The length of the t-shirt kinda swallowed the skirt. And then the length of the skirt also wasn’t lovely with those shoes. And the layering shirt didn’t play well with either the t-shirt or skirt (again, imho). I suspect this is the biggest challenge for stylists on Indyx, since you can’t really see what the relative proportions of the various clothing items look like. Hannah Louise Poston just did a transition zone video that articulated some of these kinds of problems very nicely, if you’re interested. (Do you know her? She’s aesthetically very different from me and you, but I really like many of her observations.). Thanks so much for all your hard work in creating these videos!
@@owlstoathens2265 oooh such great thoughts! I think you’re right on both counts! And I have seen some of Hannah’s videos, I’ll have to give that one a watch. And I have no plans of ending this series, just ready to switch things up a little! 🥰
Love outfits 3 and 7 ! Outfit 5 is super interesting an, but I agree smtg ticks me off too in it, maybe if you try it with different pants ? smtg more casual or less beige at least ? or swapping the bag ?
Outfit 1 is a winner for sure. Outfit 2 has potential- a black tee with the jacket tones things down nicely, but there are two issues for me. The one in the picture is just black and white and this in my opinion is much better, the bright orange square on your black tee in combo with the jacket throws something off for me..Try it with a different black tee, like the one in the picture. Oddly, without the jacket the orange square tee look fine with the skirt. And secondly, I think that many of your jackets are overwhelming your frame in size and this throws off the look for me. Tailoring Some of them would work better. At least roll, scrunch up the sleeves (3/4 look) to allow more skin to show. And try resisting tucking in the whole tee, just do a casual front or side tuck to define the waistline. Or add a casual belt. Outfit 3 blue one is a winner. Outfit 4 is nice. When you are no longer obsessing 😂about the sleeves, which are fab for sure, maybe you will appreciate the jacket more. Outfit 5 has lovely color / style choice. But in my opinion the cardigan has a fit issue for you. The back view works great, but the front short, sagging look is not. Would like to see outfit version with blue shoes too. Outfit 6 is a winner. I would like to see sleeves rolled/ scrunched up to show more skin. Outfit 7 is nice, but I would be very challenged to wear the hat😅. I love the color and print range of your wardrobe and am sooo wishing my boring one looked more like yours! Well done!
Funny, I think the purple & red outfit actually looked the best on you! But it’s not how it looks on camera as much as how YOU feel in it that really matters.

Probably bc of how structured some of them are. I also feel like flats are corporate by nature. Same with thin belts. So when she pairs them all together it gives that vibe.
The audible gasp at the hot pink dress and khaki jacket I just did. Then you showed the sleeves!! Beautiful 😍
@@cadethelli4471 so great, isn’t it?! 🩷
Outfit number 5 is my favorite on you!
make a "how my own outfits changed after 4(?) month of suggestions" video or show us your two weekly favorites and also show us how your wardrobe changed thoughthis time period: what's new, what had to leave.
@@marylincherie1806 great ideas!
@@KateyOneMoreTime OOOO!! My eyes can get behind that! I loved your creative book cover outfit interpretations. Have fun!
Haha don’t worry, you’re far from alone in these comments - everyone loves the purple and red!! 😅❤️
I loooooooooove the purple and red outfit
I’m starting into my 3rd month with The Feed… I was with Aimee Rancer first and I’m now with Kimara Mitchell.
@@danielleg1504 hahaha omg red hat society google search has me giggling!! 😂😂😂
Thank you for sharing your wardrobe with us. I live in a very rural small town. There are no clothing stores here you have to buy them online or drive two hours away.
I have shared I seen an outfits formality differently than you. When I do that I am not making you wrong or arguing. I am just sharing my perspective.❤
My favorites were the blue #3 one & purple#5.
I am so sorry you experienced that negativity! Comments about other people‘s body shape is out of line. Body shaming is not OK.
My fave is the pink dress - it looks so great on you
@@libraryburrow thank you! 🩷
@@KateyOneMoreTime 💟
The purple outfit looked smashing on you, but I understand if you felt too dressy in it. I would suggest keeping the top and pants together and switching out the rest with things that down play the corporate feeling for you, regardless of color. Like a straw or slouchy bag instead. The red bag elevates too much perhaps. A belt in this outfit gives you nice proportions, I would keep the red, but also try different color, and more casual looking ones, again woven straw maybe? Same goes for the shoes. Love them here, but a more casual shoe would harness the corporate feel in too.
@@em-fe2tw great ideas!
red & purple, I wonder if it was the neckline of the tshirt with the overshirt. too bad the sleeves of the pink dress don't feel comfortable under the jacket, because the colours are so fun. and you have some really great runners.
@@anotherpace green and pink are so great together!
hmmm I love this series, it has me thinking about my wardrobe in a different way.... I haven't done anything about it yet, but that is not the point. 😅
Ollie is a star.

In my closet, orange is totally a neutral!
Legend 🧡
Love outfits 3 and 7 ! Outfit 5 is super interesting an, but I agree smtg ticks me off too in it, maybe if you try it with different pants ? smtg more casual or less beige at least ? or swapping the bag ?
I’m glad you *get* me with that outfit! I might have to have a play around with it and see if I can make something work 😊
Outfit 1 is a winner for sure.
I like nr. 5!
Without the jacket! the app misrepresents the colour values (jacket is shown smaller than the t-shirt).
oh ollie's story made me tear up :( i'm happy you have each other! it's funny, my favorite outfit was the purple and red one! I don't wear a lot of purple at all but i thought the combo was really unexpected and you looked great. I ask you kindly to drop the name of the brand and style of the teal/indigo pants because I have been looking for some like it ever since I saw them the first time.

Ok... just binged this series after finding your books about autism video. First off, you're adorable. I loved that tonal blue outfit, but that's personally my vibe. Second, Olly is a star ⭐ Lastly, I just downloaded the Indyx app after watching your videos and wanted to ask if you have a referral code before I finish signing up? I think it'll give you a $10 credit (but I'm not sure).
Haha yep, Olly is the best 🥰 I do have a referral code (kateyflowers) which you’re welcome to use and it will give you $10 credit! Indyx caps the referrals I can get credit for to ten people and I’ve already reached that 😅 I appreciate you thinking of that and asking! I hope you find the app useful
Red ballet flats with outfit #6 for a 34°C day when you said it's too hot for you to be comfy in the sneakahs?
I noticed most of your try ons that you did not love seem to be the ones that I thought were cute on you! Except the stripped skirt ensemble.
