Being a corporate mom, I was used to spend around 10hrs in an AC room every day. From 2020 onwards, as wfh started, I am not able to wear my office attire anymore in Kolkata weather at home. My body was so conditioned that I am barely can bear the hot humid weather anymore.. so house chores became a real pain for me.. I was not habituated with all the works at home, not even without AC. Slowly I started wearing pajamas and T-shirts all day at home as an excuse of sweats. And started hating myself in the mirror .. but recently at the beginning of 2022, I was thinking of improving my mindset as again a 3rd wave has started and wfh looks like going to stay at practice for some quite more time now.. I have missed this video earlier somehow.. but today morning I searched no where else but here… You are my life saviour for many times.. and this time too. Thanks will fall short for you.. My heartfelt gratitude is for you always ♥️♥️🙏🙏🤗🤗 thank you for helping me out to find myself again♥️♥️

Jayaji awesome video as always but one thing I wud love to share is that I ordered a kurti from meesho and am still so disappointed with its bad quality...the worst quality I have ever seen in my life...I donno whether this has happened only to me or with anybody else too .. so trust on meesho is completely gone..

Hey Jaya its again back to roots... Our elders always suggested to take bath early morning, dress up well and then enter kitchen. I personally follow that. Actually it energises me. People in my neighbouring look at me with a😱.. They think I have done all my chores. But actually I'm just starting my new day.☺

I have been trying to keep my self comfortable yet well dressed at home during whole pandemic as in the beginning it was all home and work so to feel good each day I realised that dressing up is very important.

Hi jaya..i totally agree with you. Our cloths do influence our mood..atleast for me its very true.i had to quit my job to take care of my daughter. I was wearing pyjamas n always depressed. Thanks to my huby who motivated me to love myself again n i changed my daily wear cloths.. now i am a happy home maker. I love to wear palazo and kurti..its comfortable and also makes me look put together even at home or if i have to drop my daughter near schol bus or to buy veggies from a near by shop....

I totally agree with you.
Certain seasons and chores may make choose otherwise. Like, hot weather and moving furniture, I will wear summer tees and nighter shorts. When done, add these perspired cloths to indoor dryer rack before putting into the laundry bag for pick up (no machine at home).
I have always liked your outfits. So colorful, breezy and appropriate for work at home and going out. I listen to many housewives in US and abroad and all say the same...get dressed! It helps.

This video is absolutely to the point!!! I loved loved loooooooved it!! Reason being there is no need of a specific time or occasion to dress up… Dress up not Dolled up!!! Ladies in my apartment wear nighties through out the day and they badger me for wearing dresses or slawar kameez or sarees…. Sorry if i seem judgemental to you but really when they can be judgemental about me dressing up then i can be for them not dressing up riiight?? 😉
I inherited this from my mom in law she always used to be presentable!! Even in a night saree which is that soft cotton sarees she would look fresh and lovely!!! There is nothing wrong in wearing a dress!! It instantly boosts up your mood!!!
